So what are the Sox gonna do in Colorado? Take the red hot Youkilis out for Ortiz? Keep Youk in and save Ortiz for a pinch hit situation? Play Youk at third, Lowell at short and Ortiz at first, and take out Lugo? Either way, I see the Sox in seven.

You do not sit Ortiz ever, he is probably the best hitter in this series, or 2nd to Manny, you just do not take him out ever. He can suck it up for 3 games, maybe not even 3 if we can finish it fast or vice versa.

I REALLY disagree. Youk hit .500 the last series. Ortiz didn't even hit .300. Start Youk, save Ortiz for a pinch hit.

Thats a small sample size, would you like me to bring up the 2004 playoffs or the 2004, 2005,2006,2007 regular seasons and tell me who you would rather have? Sitting Ortiz, you need to root for the Orioles, you make me so mad with that.

The irony is nobody gave a **** about the Rockies in Colorado until the playoffs 100000% true. When my uncle was here in June for my sister's graduation we were talking about the Rockies & suprisingly how they hadnt completely fallen apart yet. He told me that at one of the larger grocery chains in the Denver area (King Stoopers) they actually gave you free tickets just for buying groceries. Thats how bad sales were for them

But you have to remember especially with pitchers batting there are going to be some chances for pinch hits. And Ortiz is clutch. I'm really in favor of Youkilis starting at least one of the away games.

Well good thing you arent the manager of the Red Sox because you are flat out wrong and just plain dumb.
You wont need him to pinch hit if you are winning and with Ortiz starting, you have a better shot to win.
With the pinch hitting opportunities, you bring in Youk, who is not as good as Ortiz.
Tough to understand, I know

Thats how bad sales were for them Ahem...it's King SOOPERS. Anyways, they did a promotion where if you spent $100 you got free tickets, but from what I understand, the seats were like, nosebleed. You're better off using your SOOPERCARD to get a discount on good seats. Obviously, for the playoffs, no tickets were available for purchase at King Soopers. This is my totally unbiased opinion, but I really think Sox fans are underestimating the Rockies this year. You'll all make excuses when the Rockies win the series.

I hate how the NY media is making this Guiliani thing to be a huge deal. Big f'n whoop..he's rooting for the American League team. Maybe he's just an old-school fan who has pride in his league?

Has nothing to do with the league and has everything to do with him wanting votes

Prediction: Red Sox in 6 though I do believe Colorado is going to make this more intresting and close then people think. You dont win 21/22 for no reason.

I gotta say Sox in 6, maybe 7. The Rockies are good, and they will be one hell of a thorn in the side of Boston but the Sox will win when its all said and done.
