Is that the tall buff masked dude who had the cool shiny U.S. themed masks? Despite my obvious lack of info on him, I'd buy that fig. It would look great, assuming it got one of the really flashy attires.
Edit: Cripes, just his finger looks like it could kick my ass.

I love his BCA Slammers figure. I'd buy a Mattel Patriot figure.

I would poop my pants if we got a Patriot Figure. However, with Del admitting the character has an obscure beginning that didn’t start with him, I doubt it will happen. Tom Brandi says he owns the gimmick, Honky Talk Man says he owns the gimmick and Del claims another out of shape wrestler did the gimmick before him. I would settle for a Del Figure and call it a day.
Fun story: I was at a big time wrestling event a couple years ago and a vendor was selling wrestling DVDs so I bought The 3 disc high spots Patriot dvd about Del. Then as I was making the rounds I saw a gentleman who was dressed like the Patriot. It was Tom Brandi. He was super nice and said he wasn’t the man on the cover of my DVD and told me Del sold the gimmick to him. He wasn’t that fond of Del but you could tell he was holding back on me because he could see I was a big fan.

I'd get it but there's at least 50 figures I'd want ahead of it.

I’m glad someone here is speaking sense lol. I don’t want this figure. Why on Earth does everyone else want this figure so much lol?

Why does anyone want crappy superhero figures, or clowns with face paint? Hyperbole aside, maybe the character has an interesting backstory, maybe it just looks cool, looking cool alone plays a huge part in action figure sales. I will say though, wrestling fig collectors are a mix, some people buy the most mundane figures because they're attached to the character. I'd like a line of Lucha figures because I like the crazy attires, but I'll take what I can get.

As he has stated several times in the past and has threatened legal action against indie wrestlers, The Honkytonk Man actually owns the trademark to The Patriot. It would be interesting to ask Bill about this since Honkytonk Man seems to be in good standing with the company and if they have ever thought about making a deal with him to do The Patriot. I would buy one.

I'd buy one just to make him job repeatedly to Bret Hart.

It just seems really strange though that like 9/10 people who’ve commented here say they want the figure. But you look at others like Harley Race and Bob Backlund etc and it’s the opposite. I don’t think the attire looks that good, he’s nothing compared to the Mexican wrestlers. He didn’t win any major titles. He’s an obscure character. I watched him on tv and still feel no attachment. And yet so many people want this obscure character but not someone like Harley Race or Bob Backlund. Why do people want this Patriot figure? Maybe it’s an American thing lol?
