If Becky didn't get bloodied in that brawl, would that entire segment really have been as awesome as people say it was??
I feel that if she never got busted open, it would have just been an ordinary brawl at the end of the show, much like we see every year on Raw before Survivor Series.
I am not saying it wasn't cool, because Becky did look bad ass like that, but I still think if she wasn't bloodied, there wouldn't be all the hype for her right now.

Maybe not, but I'm hesitant to minimize it, nevertheless. Sometimes, those unplanned, even accidental circumstances are what propels an otherwise routine "moment" to the forefront of people's minds. Austin passing out in the Sharpshooter at WrestleMania 13, on its own merits, is a perfectly memorable moment, but the blade job (which, if I remember correctly, was kinda hush-hush between Bret and Austin) is instrumental in searing it into the collective memory.
If that's what it takes for this one to go to 11? Lucky them.

I'll just say it was unique in that it was a brawl solely between the women. No unnecessary SDL men vs. Raw men. It was a total free for all between teh women. and that alone made it awesome because of its uniqueness. Seeing Becky get the upperhand whilelooing like she had been through hell and back certainly added to it. If it didn't have that accident, I think the "bad ass" factor would have been lessened, but it would still be an amazing moment.

Not really. That fact that she got busted open made that segment great. Sucks that she had her face blasted, but it made the segment, and now there's money to be made with Becky f***ing Nia up in storyline

I think the blood made the end much better. If the end was just Rhonda looking mad and Becky leaving through the crowd it is a good ending and helps for Sunday. With the blood it is a main event type fued for mania if they don't screw it up.

Sometimes its the things that aren't planned that turn a good segment into something great. Stone Cold improvising the 3:16 line at KotR was one such moment. Becky getting bloodied and looking like a real badass at the end of the show was another such moment. Becky was already over but this... she is white hot now even though she is out of the match with Ronda... possibly even hotter than she would be had the match happened as planned and she most likely ate the loss at SS.
So what the OP says is probably true - the blood made the segment awesome when it might not have been otherwise. And this is a good thing. Awesome can't always be planned. Sometimes it just happens.

It still would have been okay, but def. not as intense and cool. Blood always adds that extra spark and natural human, primal intensity. A lot more effective I think at the attempts for excitement and chaos with the tired pull-apart brawls. It's just bittersweet though with how it built this match even higher but at the same time took it away from us. Like sitting in the theatre and someone cut off the final battle scene from Avengers Infinity War.

It was the cherry on top of a badass sundae. Not 100% needed, but 100% welcomed.

It made her look like more of a badass, WWE should have blood on certain situations. Just wish Becky didn't have to get a broken nose for it.

Becky deserves the hype. She's one of the best female heels on the roster right now.
