So, I got two Dude Love figures. Neither one can bend their legs at the hip. It's like they're fused. None of the Mankind or Cactus Jack figures I have seem to have this problem, but both Dude Loves do. One of the Dudes' leg snapped right off right out of the box. I barely put any pressure trying to bend the leg and it snapped like it was nothing.
Has anyone had a problem with their Dude figure?

Mines got a floppy foot that stops him from standing. One of my biggest peeves with the line

My Dude Love had the same problem. I just placed him in warm water, then bent his legs forward and kept it like that for sometime. Now I can bend his legs forward no problem. Funny thread title btw haha

Mines got a floppy foot that stops him from standing. One of my biggest peeves with the line Agreed about ankle articulation. I've always hated it on every figure. I have several figures from different lines and different companies that can't stand worth a damn because of a loose ankle.

Boil it! Seriously though I've had about a dozen or so out of my 200 Mattel's have the fused hip problem but hot water and moving the joint worked every time. I tried forcing my Tyler Bates left leg to move without boiling it and it snapped. Now I gotta get another bate lol

Mine came like this too, but I put mine in boiling water for a little bit and it did the trick and he can 23-Skidoo the night away

All it did was make his leg wobbly, but it was still fused to the joint.

The fat guy leg mold always seems very heavily ratcheted. I’ve had to hot water almost all of them.
I haven’t had a loose ankle in years. Mattel started making them super tight (which I’ve heard folks complain about), but a quick hot water bath makes them perfect. Too stiff is easier to fix than too loose.

Only issues I had like this were with E40 Umaga, E6 Punk and E20 Punk. E40 Umaga especially. I hot water'd him several times but could never fix it.
Could never find a solution.

Got me afraid to open mine now. Have been pretty lucky as far as joints go...except those bloody ankles lol
