I was struggling by this point, but I can't remember the main event being THAT great? Might have to rewatch it going by some of the reactions on here.

Can we get Ruby Riot away from the dreadfully boring Natalya. And have her challenge Ronda Rousey for the women's title. The Riott Squad is probably my favorite thing on the Raw brand, so I am all for this.

Daniel Bryan legit put me to sleep last night so I watched the last 2 matches just now. Seth/Dean was meh, glad Asuka is finally champion but my god Charlotte Flair has absolutely 0 ability to sell anything, you would never of thought she got leg dropped through a table 🤦🏽♂️

Caught the rest of the show today. Really underwhelming. 12 match PPV's bar Wrestlemania are just so tiresome. Thought Ronda was the highlight of the PPV again

I love reading comments. People routinely say it "sucks" but deliberately fail to articulate why.
With the exception of the placement of Dean and Rollins, all of the matches were great.
Dean and Rollins told a fine story. But after the hot match between AJ Styles an the New Daniel Bryan, they needed a cool down. Braun and Corbin would have fit nicely there. This entire show was about storytelling in the ring, and those that crap all over it are just showing Vince it's about aesthetics not work rate. You want flippy flips (but not on 205 Live or from actual luchadors). You want insane highspots (which is why Becky in keeping with her twitter feed decided to jump off a higher ladder). All of the matches were really well done, and I was thoroughly entertained.
Excellent pPV

For a throwaway PPV that didn't necessarily need to much except get us from December to the push toward RR/WrestleMania season, I thought this was perfectly okay a show. Things I liked outweighed things I didn't, so as a viewer, that's a win in my book.

The booking is horrendously bad at this point. Asuka has been the biggest joke since Wrestlemania and all of a sudden we should take her serious?

Overall I liked the PPV....
the Rousey/Jax match to me was better then expected and I think Rousey is becoming a legitimate "wrestler" now... I'm saying this even though I think they put the title on her too soon...
The Bryan/Styles match I think was the best pure wrestling match of the night, and I even thought it was fitting it ended in a small package win.
Ambrose/Rollins was a good wrestling match that had more of a street fight feel without the stipulations. It did give me the feeling that it was a prelude to a bigger match between them later....
Lynch/Flair/Asuka continued the line of really good women's matches with stipulations you just didn't see 10 years ago.... From Lynch landing on the ladder from the top rope, to Flair getting crushed on the announcers table, and going thru tables, I thought someone was really hurt a couple times, until they got right back up a couple minutes later.... I liked Rouseys entrance and giving Asuka the win this way is fitting for everyone. Lynch isn't hurt by the loss because of the interference, Asuka gets the title which I think she actually needs.... and both Lynch and Flair are set up for a horsewomen feud with Rousey in the future.

I thought it was a solid show. The main event really did save the show.
- The crowd sounded really quiet throughout. - Corbin VS Strowman was a nice little segment. I'm really disappointed that they didn't have Rhyno return to Gore Corbin. I think that was a missed opportunity there. - Natalya VS Riott was a solid match. Probably the only time in recent memory I've felt invested in a match starring Natalya. - Balor VS McIntyre was okay. - Rousey VS Jax was a solid match, though I think Nia tapped too quickly. - The backstage interaction between Nia and Becky was fantastic, and was exactly what the fans needed. - Bryan VS Styles was too boring for me to sit through, I just skipped it after the first few minutes. I don't know who on earth thought turning Daniel Bryan heel was a good idea. He's been unspeakably dull since doing so. - Ambrose VS Rollins was mostly dull too. They made the right call with having Ambrose win, but I expected much more from those two. - The Women's Triple Threat match was incredible! Some really creative and visually exciting spots. Becky landing with all her weight on Charlotte's chest from the top of a ladder looked bad. I hope it didn't cause an injury. Ronda interfering to stop Becky and Charlotte was a twist I did not see coming. I don't know if it's just me, but I think instead of setting up for Becky VS Ronda at WrestleMania, they're setting up for that Four Horsewomen match. If it was just Becky VS Ronda they were setting up for, I think they'd have Ronda interfere to stop just Becky, instead of both Becky and Charlotte.

The booking is horrendously bad at this point. Asuka has been the biggest joke since Wrestlemania and all of a sudden we should take her serious? They should have waited til Mania to pull the trigger on her (again). Looks like they want a triple threat with Rousey/Lynch/Charlotte though, so who knows what Asuka will do, but left themselves with no other option. I feel the interference cheapens her title win though. At least they're doing something with her again I guess, but they could have done a better job of building up the payoff, especially after the poor year she's had.

Overall thoughts:
Triple Threat Tag match: Fun match. These three teams bring their A game more times than not and last night was no different. I would like to see Sheamus/Cesaro do something else soon though as their tag team is starting to run its course. Cesaro is still IMO a main eventer waiting to happen.
Strowman/Corbin: Such a waste of a "TLC" match. They have humanized Strowman way too much recently. Hes a monster, monsters dont wear slings. Would prefer to see him in a cast and break out of it like The Rock did in Fast 7. I hate the idea of young wrestlers in a GM role because they have nothing for them (Or in Paiges case, is hurt) I prefer an established star whos in-ring career is over/winding down in that spot. Rhyno should have come out and gored Corbin but its whatever. Just a waste of time IMO. 4 stipulations (TLC, Strowman gets Universal title match, Corbin out of power or Corbin gets GM spot permanently) for a match that really didnt even happen was just too much.
Natalya/Riott: A horrible feud that is hopefully over. I dont get offended or triggered at anything really, but I thought using Natalya's dad in this feud was just cringe-worthy. The comments about being closer to her dad to the table with his decal on it. Just a mess all around. Natalya is not very good at acting and I feel like she is stuck in a spot where the crowd feels bad for her more than enjoy watching her.
Balor/McIntyre: Good match from what I remember. Dont care for Ziggler helping Finn and then attacking Finn backstage. Are you a heel or are you a face? Finn was the hottest star when he debuted and now he is just another guy. What a shame.
Mysterio/Orton: Chairs match gimmick is so silly. Match was decent. Always great to see Rey out there and I will never get tired of seeing him. Hopefully he moves onto somebody more motivated and hopefully Orton stays the hell away from AJ.
Nia/Ronda: Crowd was into this from the start. I did enjoy it for the most part. Anybody saying Ronda shouldnt be champ is nuts as she gets the best reactions during her matches than any of the other woman do, maybe outside of Becky.
Bryan/AJ: Real good match I enjoyed it a lot. Not sure if I would get tired of watching these two go at it just because Im a huge fan of both guys. Loved Bryan winning clean with a rollup. Wonder where both guys go from here. Likely going to see one more match between them whether it be Smackdown or Rumble. Sign me up.
Ambrose/Rollins: What a flat match from start to finish. If ANY match needed a gimmick this was the one! And not because it was the sh*ts but because the feud actually calls for one! These guys should not be chain wrestling to start the match. This should have been a fight from bell to bell with both guys unable to continue by the end. I would have been more than okay with a double count out or some kind of spot near the entrance where the referee just called the match. Ambrose winning is meh, he doesnt need the IC belt at all. Another note, why would Rollins be in a TLC match on the go home RAW if his match was a regular one on one match at TLC? Would have made more sense for Corbin to book Rollins in two TLC matches instead of a random one on RAW.
Triple Threat TLC Womens Championship: Was an okay match but I just didnt really care for the spots. The woman seem way too timid when doing these matches where the spots just seem too rehearsed. They also seem to be about a second late on most spots where the timing just doesnt flow at all. I have no problem with Womens matches but maybe keep the big gimmick matches for the men. Asuka winning was whatever, she lost way too much steam IMO. Ronda pushing Charlotte and Becky off the Ladder was great in terms of storyline progression but Becky shouldnt have lost the title. And Asuka shouldnt have won it that way.
My biggest complaint which has been the same for years is how the WWE books the matches going into TLC (and other gimmick PPVs) One superstar randomly brings out a table on RAW/Smackdown and uses it; thats WWE setting up a Table match. Same thing with a chair or a ladder match. I miss the days when matches called for a gimmick match as opposed to gimmick shows needing matches to fulfill the name of the show. Rollins/Ambrose desperately needed a stipulation. Hell, Bryan/AJ even could have been a Ladder match given the way Bryan won the WWE Championship. But hey what is logic.

Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles was great, loved the match. Ronda Rousey is so great that with less then a year experience she carried Nia to a great match. Happy the women's triple threat TLC went last, it was clear the crowd wanted to see Becky. The Dean Ambrose/Seth Rollins match was a huge letdown, even if it happend earlier in the show it couldn't have been saved if that was the plan.

I don’t think Dean and Rollins was as bad as people are saying. I blame it on the fact that this late into the show people are tired and have to work and go to school the next morning. By the time this match started we were over 4 hours into the show. Also having this non stipulation match after the AJ/Bryan match was poor match placement by whoever makes that call. There’s a reason some cards need a filler match or two. If they would have started the Dean/Seth match brawling all over the place they would have kept the crowd more interested. However at this point of the night lots of people in attendance don’t have the patience for another technical match when we just saw one before it.

Well I thought in terms of main roster PPV's that TLC was probably the best of the year on on pair with Wrestlemania. The Women's TLC match and Bryan/Styles where in my eyes two of the better main roster matches this year and both well booked. While Rousey/Jax & Mysterio/Orton where also good as well. This was probably the first PPV of the year in the WWE where the show actually got better as it went on.A huge part of the issues with their PPV's this year where have a really good opening match or match towards the front end of the card and the quality dropping way off as the show went on which in turned made the shows seem even longer then 4 hours.
On a side note I must say that in terms of the main roster that Charlotte Flair has been the best overall wrestler this year. She always delivers on PPV in a similar vain as John Cena once did,has had the main roster feud of the year with Becky Lynch and again in my eyes has delivered now three straight PPV matches in a row that could be in the mix of MOTY in terms of the WWE or at the very least in the top ten.
Charlotte Flair & Johnny Gragano have been the two best wrestlers of the year in terms of WWE/NXT.
