"All the time" maybe a slight, massive, exaggeration, otherwise we'd have seen some other examples I assume "All the time" as in multiple times a year for the past 8 years. They're pretty much guaranteed to show up around Xmas and a few months after Xmas to get rid of excess stock, and then often they do a third round in July/August. I don't know why you'd expect to have seen more examples of it. Ringside collectibles sells New Day bundles every time they have new figs come out. You really think if they shrinkwrapped them before shipping that wfigs members would be flooding the forum with photos of their super rare cool unique finds? Nah. They'd probably just take the shrinkwrap off and treat them like the 3 individual figures they were marketed and sold as. If this were an officially released Mattel specialty item, why would they go through the trouble and extra cost of putting them in 3 different bulky packages, covering up the upcs, and then shrinkwrapping them? They'd be pissing money away. EDIT: Halfway down this page is a pic of a TRU Canada bundle from last year (though at this point they'd switched from shrinkwrap/cardboard to hard plastic box) forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/348317/q4-2017-buy-talk?page=13

I added a pic of another bundle to my last post, but if you're still not convinced and still really really into plastic wrap, I can grab some bundles for $40 the next time I'm at TRU and sell them to you for a slight markup. Or I can just seran wrap some old figs I don't anymore. Super rare for only $100.

I simply sought knowledge about its origin. If/when Ringside releases a bundled package of figures that looks like it was professionally assembled, and when time passes and people no longer realize Ringside did it, then yes, you probably will see someone posting here asking about where it came from. Why act like I'm some terrible person for trying to learn more about my item? Some of the members here are serious jerks. I never realized this until the past 24 hours.

But since you invited yourself in, he referenced me when he made the wisecrack about, "You really think if they shrinkwrapped them before shipping that wfigs members would be flooding the forum with photos of their super rare cool unique finds?"

Like I said earlier, who knew posting a picture of some toys and seeking knowledge about them would bring out so many jerks?
I've learned all I need to know about the 3-pack, so any time someone wants to lock the thread would be great. It's just spiraling out of control at this point. The only thing I'm learning now is who the donkeys are on these boards.

You make no sense The wrapped bunlde is rare, you showed me a completely different bundled set claiming that this somehow makes it not rare? I dont get it Its a neat item, one that Ive only ever seen one of, there may be more, but Ive not seen them Why are you talking about wrapping figures and trying to sell them to me? What on earth has that got to do with these legends figures?

Hey man if you dig it good for you and all but it's not considered rare or worth any extra cash or anything. Just something a store did.

I wasn't trying to be a jerk to you. But 7 people had already told you exactly what this was, and you were still dismissing them and trying to claim it was something it wasn't. Apparently you needed that 8th person to convince you?

It's just three figures shrinkwrapped on some cardboard really well by a store or whatever. Any one of us could get someone to do that. And it looks like he just wanted some validation or whatever because it's listed for $300 on ebay lolololololol. Whatever. I guess I should get all my Legends figures shrinkwrapped onto cardboard and jack up the price for a quick profit.
