This is still a huge bummer, his figures look terrible without them imo. He doesn't wear tape, it's just silly.
Did they ever acknowledge why they would stop using something that was already tooled?

They stopped using the already tooled gauntlets because roman changed the shape and style of the gauntlets, so using that mold w the new figs would be outdated. They should have made a new mold though |

I got a couple old Roman basics with gauntlets for dirt cheap and arm swapped the elites. So now I can swap out the vests whenever I want and it won't clash with the gauntlets. Best of all, it helps with the limp wrist problem that every single Roman figure I ever bought has. Seriously, I have like 8 Roman figures and they all have a limp left wrist.

It sucks because if you do swap the gauntlets they don’t have the color design on them. Imo the molded gauntlets completed the Roman figures.
