I would have pegged Abyss to be a lifer for Impact. Never would have thought he’d jump ship.

They're about 13 years too late with Abyss I'm afraid.

sonjay is a great talent, as others have said it’s too bad he didn’t come sooner. abyss is a strange move.

For those of you thinking Abyss and Sonjay are coming to WWE to wrestle, you're going to be vastly disappointed.
You can tell from a mile away that they're coming for producer/road agent roles, similar to what they were doing in Impact until their departures.

I'm praying that he at least gets used properly either backstage or on screen. He deserves the best, I have so much respect for him for sticking with TNA through thick and thin.

Abyss is wrestling on the indy show I'm attending tomorrow. Safe to say now it's his last before he goes to WWE.

Abyss was a former "world champion" in an indy fed i was a part of (always makes me laugh when an indy fed has a WORLD CHAMPION!, what they are really is just WORLD CHAMPION of a craphole area of Indiana lol) all he wanted to do was to take a shower with my female manager. Hopefully he's grown out of that phase! lol He was a nice guy. Like it was said, hopefully he's gonna be a coach for some of the big guys they want to sign. I think the PC would fair well having a gimmick worker as a coach. God knows signees are gonna need to work on a character!
As for Dutt? Cool for him.

I'm a big fan of both of these guys, and I'm very happy for them to get a shot in the WWE in some compacity. I would really like to see them both in the ring, but I'm not holding my breath. I would love to get Mattel figures of both of them, but I know if they're trainers or in some other backstage position that probably won't happen. Still waiting for Steve Corino and Norman Smiley figures.

I would like to see Abyss and Mick Foley promo against eachother as their various characters without even wrestling...

Sonjay had some very nice things to say to me recently while I was going through a rough time so this makes me really happy for him. Dude never got the credit he deserved in the early 2000’s.

A mini Run for Abyss would be nice... I agree. I want him to have at least one match, not including the Rumble.

That’s really selfish that they wouldn’t hire Abyss’s brother Joseph Park too. F*ck this company

I can see Dutt wrestling at a Takeover against Ricochet in a show stealer as a special one night only challenger.

Can either one of these guys still wrestle? I think they will both be in the PC and were brought in because of Borash. Abyss is way past his prime as a monster. Dutt hasn't wrestled since 2017 unless he came back toward the end of 2018. Last time I've seen him he was a commentator because of injury. I don't think he would be 100% at his age ever again, not sure WWE would put him in 205 if he couldn't go and do all the high spots and flips needed to be on 205 Live.
