Abyss? Never saw that one coming. I can't see him bringing his monster's ball shtick tho!

All I know is the article. Some are saying Abyss signed as a PC coach.

2 solid pickups for WWE, hopefully they utilize these guys right. Abyss probably needs a quick NXT run then a move to the main roster. Dutt can go to 205 live and have some amazing matches with the talent they have.

Talk about a decade late... unless it actually is for a role in the PC. WWE has so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so *inhales* so, so, so, sooooooooo much talent under their umbrella now (much of which they don't even know what to do with), I really couldn't care less about seeing Dutt or Abyss in WWE in 2019.

I'm glad Abyss didn't sign 10 or so years ago when they tried to get him. He would just have been fodder for the Undertaker then released. Sonjay could do well there but I thought he retired tbh.
Hopefully these are for backstage roles.

Cool for da Playa from da Himalayas. Guy can still put on a show in the ring, a great catch for the Cruiserweights.
Abyss the in-ring character would not have lasted too long in WWE if he had arrived earlier. They moved away from the harder hardcore scene a while back, and it wouldn't be too long before he had jobbed to Cena then teamed with Truth. Plus they always had Kane. Working behind the scenes, he can be a lot more effective.
Now cue the "can we get Abyss" threads lol

Abyss would probably be good as a coach. He should have come to WWE years ago and been a monster.
Sonjay could be a good player coach type guy. Kinda like Kendrick. He can work with guys but mainly to help them fine tune their stuff.

I don’t see either guys being signed for a talent contract. They’re both up in age. I could see both being a pc coach like others have said.

Cool for them regardless of the role they'll play.

Would have loved to see Abyss on the main roster, but unfortunately this late in his career, i doubt he'll be active. Like someone mentioned above, it would've been neat to see him in SAnitY. If he is active though, an Elite of him would be amazing.
As for Sonjay Dutt, he'd make a perfect fit on 205 Live. He's not that old, he's only 36 so he could easily have a good run and still be the 'Veteran' of the division, much like Brian Kendrick.

It's cool having so many guys from TNA's golden age in the WWE at present.
I would like Abyss to have a small run. Now would be the perfect time because compared to 10 years ago he would now be classed as a wrestling legend.

Nice. Now what does tna have. The last homegrown star left. I try to look at impact as a different company to that of the Jarret / Carter years. Impact still have some really talented guys in Pentagon, Eli Drake, LAX, Fenix and Sami Calihan. Abyss and Dutt weren't bringing anything to the table in the ring, and they've been replaced by Konnan and Tommy Dreamer backstage so its not like they've got some clueless kids working in their place. I used to be a HUGE Abyss fan but something changed around the time Hogan came into TNA it was like Abyss forgot how to play the character, or he was having some mobility issues. Shame he never went to WWE earlier in his career would have been interesting to see. I hope hes just a trainer there now though. Sonjay Dutt was awesome back in the day too, I've grown bored of his booking though he should have had a much more decorated career in TNA he only won the xdivision title once he's always been on the Dolph ziggler push deal, given opportunities and looking the big one. It works for a while but they pay off has gotta come at the right time, and it never really did for me. Sonjay can still move so wouldnt mind him coming back in the ring maybe as a part timer in NXT (as well as a trainer)

I hope Abyss appears in the Rumble at least.
Must be a weird ass time for him, he has been in TNA for so long.
