Supposedly all this with Nia attacking Truth and Ambrose is WWE testing out the waters for potential inter-gender match ups. Seeing if there is interest in it without backlash. Personally, this is not something I care to see. Maybe a few physical interactions here and there for storyline purposes, but full blown matches are not necessarily my thing.
Example: I don't need Lana vs Samoa Joe at Survivor Series. But Joe getting (reasonably) physical with Lana to egg on Rusev might be interesting.
BUT...
I know they do it in the independents and people seem to love em. I also see some online wishing we got more of it. So I thought I'd see where we stand.

They're very popular in the Indies so WWE should give it a try. Everyone loved Chyna back in the day and the likes of Rousey and Nia could handle themselves against male wrestlers so why not?

I'd be fine with it if it feels special and warranted. I don't want to see it every week but once or twice a year would be fine.

I don't think PG-13 WWE could do anything entertaining enough to make them a regular feature. They'd play out like any other match, just with more crappy twitter posts about gender.
Lucha Underground intergender matches are entertaining...but that's because it's goddamn Lucha, even the junk matches are entertaining.

I don’t think doing a lot of it in WWE would feel appropriate. A few times a year would be fine for like a legitimate feud. Could throw in more for lower card comedy/nothingness. With Lucha Underground it all felt normal and worked really well, but it was like that from the very start and was accepted as how things are. WWE has been around forever, and the idea of having inter gender matches all the time just doesn’t seem like it would fit.

If it makes sense in a storyline like Christian and Jericho vs Lita and Trish

I like intergender wrestling overall. But I’m not sure WWE would be smart about it. They’d put Nia over guys like Balor, Owens and Zayn and I don’t want to see that.
I wouldn’t mind seeing men and women get physical during the Mixed Tag Challenge. It would make sense considering the match type.

I have absolutely no interest in seeing a man strike a woman, even in a "worked" setting. Not my cup of tea.

I can understand the whole argument about capable women challenging for midcard titles in WWE, similar to the aforementioned Chyna and others who held the IC and Hardcore Championships. And yes, physical altercations between men and women were pretty commonplace in the Attitude and Ruthless Aggression Eras, and many drew massive pops. Some are even considered great moments in WWE history. It just isn't something I have the appetite for. I can't help but think those moments today would be depicted by WWE more as novelties and PR stunts than actual significant achievements that were earned by talents.
And I seriously question whether some would actually accept women's successes in intergender matches, or would they simply complain and threaten to boycott WWE because it would no longer be "believable".

I would have loved them if it were Chyna. None of the ladies nowadays have been booked so strongly that they feel like a threat.

I don't know about this. I know the indies and LU so it with varying levels of success but WWE is a different beast entirely. Different product, different goals, different fans. If the Universe flipped out about the Moolah battle royal I can't see this going over too well.

Rybotch vs Nia Jax - First person to injure their opponent wins.
WALTER vs Charlotte Flair - Watch her chest explode.

I think some interaction is fine, but in 2019 this is would be such a fine line the WWE would have to walk if I were them I really would not bother as the potential fall out could be a major pain in the ass. Also you know that the female would have to go over in the end, it would be an absolute PR nightmare if a man went clean over a woman. So while some interaction like Ronda going nuts and kicking some guys ass in a segment or even something like what Nia Jax did to R Truth is fun. I think as an actual story they would not be able to cut loose and have fun with it as they would always be worried about the PR backlash.
