Man, him and Bruno in less than a year. The two standard bearers of their day.

It's a deeply polarizing thing because he struggled with Parkinson's disease, so his quality of life was rather low. I am relieved to know that he is no longer suffering from it, but my heart hurts because he did so much for us that most fans will never know or appreciate. Yes, they get paid large sums of money, but they still go out there and try their damnedest to give us the sport/art we love so dearly. Thank you for everything, Pride of your proud Island. Thank you for your tremendous showdowns with legends like Bruno and Baba. Thank you for your babyface fire and unmistakable smile. May the bellowing of "Morales." in his iconic victories echo in the rafters of the garden to the last days it stands.
Rest In Peace, Pedro Morales.

I was lucky to witness the last few years of his career. The guy certainly had charisma and a passion for the biz.

We focus so much on the Samoan family machine that we forget guys like Pedro paved the way for future latin talent in the WWF/E: Santana in the 80s, Rey in the 90s/early 2000s, ADR in the later 2000s, and Tranquilo Almas in the 2010s!

One thing I remember about, Pedro is that for all the years he spent in WWE he always looked the same, I watched him in the 70s and then towards the end of his career in the 80s and he never changed. R.I.P
