I saw on Twitter an account called Leukaemia Care. They tweeted a thread explaining different types of leukemia, the different treatments for it, etc. that would probably debunk any speculation to how sick Roman really was. BTW, I don't believe Roman Reigns wasn't sick with cancer at all. We don't really know how bad his leukemia is. I'd highly recommend this twitter thread. twitter.com/LeukaemiaCareUKEdit: I only posted the link to their twitter, and not just their thread cause the first tweet appeared on this post, so to avoid trouble with pages stretching, I just posted their account, but the thread is pinned to their twitter. I saw this earlier too, it’s a very good read and gives great insight on leukaemia to those who are unfamiliar with It and for anyone that thinks they’re being “worked” by WWE.

im happy he is back and in remission, its truly great for him, his family and everyone around him. however if they just shoehorn him into the main event of 'Mania again simply because he's back now, that would be pretty damn wrong. Seth has done A LOT the last year+ to earn his match. He deserves to have the spotlight given to HIM for once, and he deserves to be the guy to take down Lesnar. Honestly if I'm the WWE, of course I want Roman on the show, so if he's around the next few weeks you can easily have literally anyone attack/challenge him. Hell even give him a squash vs Corbin if that's what it takes. But if they really are hell bent on getting him in the main event, you have Rollins win....Roman AND Dean come out to celebrate with him, and they pull the Evolution turn, where Roman is the guy who turns on both Dean and Seth and you have the next biggest heel in the business ready to go, plus Seth's first title feud and even a way to write Ambrose off TV since he's leaving. Theres no time given when he really will be back. He's not going to be ready for Mania. Can we all just wait and see before getting into a hissy fit about him coming back to main event anything. Lets see if he's even cleared to wrestle now

This thread boutta get locked up like the other one lol. Cancer isn’t just a simple injury where you can get quick medical updates and it’s not really a big deal having pictures posted, videos posted, etc. but when you’re dealing with something that has high potential to f*cking KILL you, I’m sure the guy wanted his privacy.
So what he was filming Shaw and Hobbs? Dwayne probably invited him onto set to clear his mind because I’m sure Roman didn’t want to sit around depressed.
Ya’ll are wack.

It's a four month recovery from cancer. Something every person on Earth has known someone with. People are going to be suspicious of a four month recovery. Plus, he doesn't look like he's even been ill - no weight loss, nothing. Looks as fresh as a daisy. Maybe he really is superman. if he cured it naturally then he wouldn't be ill

Seth get the spot light for once? LMAO. He closed a Wrestlemania as the WWE Champion. He’s beat Reigns clean more than Reigns has him. All of Rollins championship reigns have been longer than Reigns. He’s main evented multiple Summerslam’s. I’m kind of sick of everyone acting like Reigns is booked to always win and is forced, and people have acted like Rollins has worked so hard the past year. Know what’s more impressive than having a great year on Raw? Beating f****ing cancer. Coming back to a bunch of people that hated you and now they’re cheering for you. If you look at win/loss record, I gurantee Rollins is ahead of Reigns. Rollins hasnt even been that great, he has been the definition of an upper mid carder this last year. He’s had the best matches of the year on terrible cards against the same old people but he’s “burning it down” and is the best in the company in his eyes, when he’s not even top 3 currently

I don't think his return has a ton of real impact on the Mania card. He'll likely face McIntyre or maybe even Ambrose. I'd be good with either of those matches. I REALLY hope/pray they save Roman vs Drew. I think having Drew win the title at SummerSlam and then us getting Roman vs Drew next year at WM is money. Yeah, I think Reigns vs Ambrose is the better way to go. Everyone knows Ambrose is leaving and likewise that Reigns is beating anyone he faces. The story is built-in with the two of them, even if they want to do more of a face/face or face/tween deal. Let the two close friends just have a fun match together. Plus, they can always have a Reigns heel turn in their back pocket if they’re bold enough. I don’t want a generic Reigns vs Drew match, and I definitely don’t want to see Drew used as the guy that gets fed to Roman in his feel good Mania match. But I’d be lying if I said I think that’s something they wouldn’t do. It should be saved for a big title showdown but who knows if they can actually keep them away from each other for that long.

The fact that ANYONE (much less on this very forum) believes that Roman having cancer is an elaborate work, is the ultimate insult to people battling cancer and people who have battled cancer and survived or sadly lost the battle. Right now my brother, who is 31 and has a beautiful baby boy just yesterday had to have a tumor removed from his kidney in a four hour surgery and has to get another biopsy next week. We (my family) have been going through the gamut of emotions since the beginning of the year when all of this began. His fiancée’s step father just got diagnosed with lung cancer Monday and had to have a lung and lymph nodes removed, and he’d just got done battling another form of the disease. These conspiracy theories spit in the faces of my brother, my brother’s fiancee’s step father, my dearly departed grandfather, and any other person who has had their lives or family’s lives affected by this horrible s#-t disease. Roman wasn’t faking it. The WWE wasn’t faking it to get sympathy pops or heat for Roman, and anyone that truly believes that shouldn’t be permitted in public alone without a caretaker. Seriously. ’s wrong with you?! Jesus Tapdancing Christ! And anyone that believes that Vince had anyone killed (like in the locked thread) deserves to not be allowed on the internet before passing an IQ test. There’s my peace, I said it. Have a good day.

I agree. Shame on Vince McMahon, wwe and roman reigns if it's fake. But I refuse to even entertain that idea. They have gone way too far for entertainment sometimes, but there was nothing entertaining about this situation.

They'll let Seth have his moment at WrestleMania. After that, it's back to the sole focus being on Roman.

It's definitely a weird one. I'm not doubting it, but to be gone for just under four months, with no progress imagery or content of going through the recovery process, to returning just in time for Wrestlemania Season, looking in top shape, all seems a bit strange. Add to that the fact he's been filming a movie with The Rock in the mean time. The curve ball is that they went with Brock Lesnar vs Seth Rollins as their Plan B, when it seemed like before Roman left that a Shield Triple Threat would have been the way to go. I could see them pulling a rematch of the Wrestlemania 31 triple threat, or even Roman Reigns vs Dean Ambrose one on one, which if it's the latter, would lead me to believe that the whole thing was entirely legit, as you'd think the ultimate fairytale would be to cash in on him winning the title after recovery as this hugely over face.
Sometimes we do get too attached to reality, and need to remember that this is no different to a movie. It's entertainment. If Roman had this illness in the past, there's absolutely no reason why they couldn't then play up on it years down the line, as a tool to get him finally over, and to be an icon and role model for all of the cancer foundations which support them.

First off, sorry for your situation, and I hope everything works out well. While I appreciate you have a different outlook on this, due to personal experience, there's nobody here who is "spitting in the faces" of cancer sufferers/survivors. Some people are merely skeptical, as to how someone diagnosed with leukaemia, can return after just four months, looking as healthy as ever - having also filmed a movie, in the meantime. Personally, I don't think it's been faked, but he obviously had a less aggressive type.
