I wish they would crowdfund wrestlers! Yes. Obscure wrestlers and characters that they find are too niche. Guys like Buddy Rogers, Pedro Morales, Gobbledy Gooker, Max Moon, Joey Marella, etc. I think you could also not so that "obscure" and use this as a method to test the waters for WCW versions of Chris Jericho, Dustin Rhodes, and Stunning Steve Austin. It still irks me that in one of the first Q&As someone in the audience asked about Stunning Steve Austin and The Natural Dustin Rhodes and that was in 2010. Here we are going into 2020 and 1 out of 3 could happen now.

There aren't going to be thousands of people willing to pay $50 for a Joey Marella figure. People have been begging for a referee for a while. Figured Joey would probably be the person easiest to get under a legends deal since his family is in good standing with WWE and Gorilla apparently has a deal. Bundle Joey with someone else niche and he’d sell. Joey and Danny Davis?

I’ve said this 100 times. I’ll make it 101, collectors here complain about a $26.99 figure. Thats stage would be over $200. MattyCollector failed because wrestling figure collectors are cheap. However, a subscription kit may work with monthly payments of like $50. wrestling figure collector's are REALLY cheap. I've seen countless times ppl say stuff like "im paying $20 a pop for these things and they're not perfect "yeah good luck crowd funding anything

I don't see it working for figures of obscure guys even though that is all I'd want. I'm not into big playsets as I don't really have room, but I would totes be down to pay into getting lesser known flashbacks.

Dustin may have been off limits due to the ongoing Goldust but now they've missed the Dustin train as he's now left the company! Same with WCW Jericho too.

I think I remember years and years ago, Mattel said something about not having approval to do Stunning Steve Austin because WWE didn’t want to present an image of Austin other than his Stone Cold days. That was a long time ago, so obviously things may have changed, but it could be a reason they haven’t done it yet.

Forgot about Ringmaster. Again it was a long time ago when I heard that explanation about Stunning Steve Austin. Way before a Ringmaster figure was even a thought. Also, Stunning Steve Austin has been in video games since then.

Crazy logic if true. Stunning Steve will sell better than a Stone Cold nowadays due to the amount of releases. It's not as if he wasn't successful in WCW either.

And they can do WCW belts now so even if Stunning isn’t as well known as Stone Cold in the main stream a TV, US, or Tag belt will definitely elevate its appeal.

I would definitely crowdfund Wrestlers which normally wouldn't sell much, if that means we could do it from anywhere worldwide like on Kickstarter and I can get my figure sended home when it's done.
I'm all in for this.

I say this as a wrestling fan
