Former NXT champion Aleister Black released a statement on his Instagram where he recalled taking a brutal beating trying to defend a friend due to their sexual preferences, and reveals that he dished out a lot of violence in the process. Black would then declare that he’d always fight for the rights of the LGBTQ community, especially when he’s standing up for friends against “narrow minded” individuals.
"When I was younger I would attend many local hardcore shows to support friends, local bands and just because I loved music and discovering new bands, luckily our local scene was thriving. Every once and a while people would show up with ill will and the intention to do harm and disrupt the shows. This particular night they targeted a friend of mine because of his sexual preferences, that night I took a massive beating and dished out more violence towards a human being than I have ever done to protect my friend and his at the time lover. There will never not be a moment where I won’t stand up nor literally fight to protect what I believe in as well as keeping my friends and people safe that are still victims of ridiculous narrow-minded brainwashed individuals. No person should ever have to hide who and what they are, nor be discriminated against because of race or sexual orientation they have." #pridemonth
I'm kind of hoping they put him in a feud with Lars Sullivan now.
And can we keep this civil? I'd hate to see this thread get locked.

Your happiness cannot be defined by what someone else thinks is " normal" or whatever. The choices of another person that dont directly impact you should not cause such a rage or hatred inside of you. Ever. As for him, good for defending someone that obviously couldn't do it.

I already really liked Aleister Black as an in-ring talent but it's so nice to see that he's equally as good of a human being. Happy pride month everyone

I firmly believe Aleister Black is a star in the making. Not only does he have it all in the ring, judging by this, he's a good guy too.
Lars has only lost once. And it was to Black. So I'd be okay to see that again.

Even more respect for Black now
I can just imagine Black beating that guy senseless then stiffing a Black Mass upside his worthless skull.

He stood up for what he felt was right and defended the honor of his friends. Can’t say nothing about that but to praise it up. He’s a good man in my book 💯

I like how he's defending his friend. LGBT People don't need the bullying and harassment. My brother met a gay person who was bullied for being gay. It's messed up that people bully them.
