Gooker ... since they're spending money on tooling anyways ... make it an exclusive.

I’d lean Macho/Razor/Double J. I have so many HBK’s I want. The KOTR 96 attire is fine, and I’d buy it, but I want him in red: I think you misread the listing, I actually had 95 KOTR Shawn on the list and not 96. He wore red in 95.

The whole concept of this thread is a bit flawed, since I’d argue of the choices so far, the only one that is debatable is Nakamura, and that has more to do with the fact that WWE’s booking of him has been horrendous since his main event run (which is likely when he was chosen for this spot) and there’s been too many Nak dogs during this period. As far as the choices, my vote goes to HBK. To be honest, I wish they had gone with a 95/96 HBK instead of the Screwjob. What exactly is 'flawed' about the 'concept of this thread'? What does that phrase even mean? If you meant to say my thread was flawed, I'd ask what is flawed about it, but you said the 'concept of this thread' which makes little to no sense. You can dislike my choices - and ignore the 'Other/Write-In' option that I provided altogether - but that does not make it flawed. This is an opinion thread my guy. And, speaking of flawed posts, what the heck does Nakamura's booking have to do with whether or not he was a good fit for a UE? My poll choices were admittedly my own and what I'd like to see, but even if you don't like them, that's fine. I was just pointing out that there are so many better choices to pick from than Lesnar, Triple H, Nakamura, and Bret. Don't get me wrong - the Bret figure is cool but why couldn't it have been in the Elite line with the sculpted jacket (minus all the heads)? Same thing for Triple H 2001? And it goes double for Lesnar and Nakamura. I just get frustrated seeing another line that - in my opinion - has potential get arguably sabotaged by egregiously bad character choices.

I think you misread the listing, I actually had 95 KOTR Shawn on the list and not 96. He wore red in 95. His tights were black at KOTR 95 against Kama. I wouldn't turn my nose up at the KOTR 96 attire, though. The teal entrance gear was awesome. His 96 boots are better than what he wore in 95 but Mattel never gets those right anyway. I prefer the black and red, because I think it's synonymous with HBK, but the KOTR 96 attire would be a great pick for this line.

And it goes double for Lesnar and Nakamura. I just get frustrated seeing another line that - in my opinion - has potential get arguably sabotaged by egregiously bad character choices. The conceit is flawed because the character choices make complete sense for what Mattel was going for with the line. First off to think that they’re going to launch what they’re Building as a HQ collector line with multiple heads and etc., and not include modern wrestlers is lunacy, and even if Mattel wanted to do that, WWE would never allow them. Secondly, a set like this is going to have big names, even if their attire is less “Ultimate worthy” than others below them on the totem pole. So instead we’ve gotten: Series 1: -In demand debut wrestling gear Ronda figure. -Warrior, who is by all accounts Mattel’s most bankable legend figure, in an attire that’s never been made before. Series 2: -Bret with an attire that we’ve previously been told is too detailed for the elite line and a jacket with removable arms, something we’ve never seen in the elite line. -Nakamura with mute faces, hands, or etc. And here is where is booking comes in: In early 2018, when these lineups were finalized, Nakamura was being given a huge push, had won the Royal Rumble, and was wrestling for the WWE title at WrestleMania. So, Bill jokes aside, it makes complete sense why Mattel would pencil him as a good choice for a modern Ultimate Edition given his then booking, combines with the hands/heads/arms etc. However, WWE booking him into oblivion means that a choice that was smart at the time looks dumb now. Had they not, no one would be complaining about Nakamura in this spot. Now, one could definitely argue that Mattel could develop some kind of strategy for situations like this. Series 3: -Balor is a relatively super over modern guy with a look that 1. Sells well and 2. Is dying for the Ultimate treatment. -Triple H: The iconic attire everyone has been dying for for a decade, with the chainmail and multiple heads. Series 4: -HBK I don’t think I need to explain. -Brock has been built up as the biggest true star in WWE this past decade. It makes sense for him to be in this line. Now, hopefully he’s going to have a bunch of bells and whistles, but from a name standpoint I get it. The overall point I’m making is that the the lineups of the first four series aren’t bad ones and aren’t going to kill the line. What will likely kill the line is lack of store distribution, which would have been the same even if the lineups had been the choices in your poll. As for being regular elites, the argument can be. Made about literally any specialty line Mattel has released. And secondly, while elites have come with hands and a few with extra heads, the budge clearly has not allowed for every figure in a set to have multiples of each, something every Ultimate has had so far.

Side note, it was a great match as well, Davey and Shawn always had great matches together. Also, his KOTR 97 look would be a nice figure, not necessarily the UE line but in the regular elite line.

I picked Hogan and Macho, we already have HBK coming and no one else on the list should be anywhere near this line. For the price point, it should be absolute A level talent only. Already too many mistakes made with line up choices.

Voted other. Need an Austin with interchangeable heads, silver, gold and red vests and white, black and red knee braces.

I would love andre the giant in a suit much like the way he looked in dibiases corner or for contract signings. Full accurate scale andre the way his body really was built. I have not seen any figures that ever got his scale right. Have singlet underneath and come with belt and cash.
Macho man/king with a beautiful robe is a must. Ideally better than the original macho king release.
Hogan is a must with accurate poses and classic yellow and red from the late 80s and early 90s.
Much less likely but cool choices: Jesse the body Ventura with interchangeable hats and sunglasses and maybe feathers.
Adorable Adrian Adonis with all of the bows, a wrap and a floppy hat and maybe even some flowers.

Double J Razor And Mick Foley (3 faces of Foley) I didn’t even think of three faces of foley, but now that I’ve read it...man that would be such a cool figure.
