So I finally decided to pull the trigger on hogan “red & white k” version and it’s even better looking figure in person. BUT...there is some black staining spots from the fabric shirt. I remember awhile back I have seen others post photos and have the same issue, is there any solution to clean it off? Thanks

Place on the stain and let it sit in the sun for a few hours. Keep repeating this process until the stain is lifted. It's a long process. Took me like a week to get rid of stains on a Martel. This works on Mattel figures and legos. Should work on storm stuff I assume.

Would really love to see some before/after pics (more specifically pics of that Rick Martel) Thanks!

I no longer have that exact Martel.I have another I need to work on and a FC Heenan as well. I have been thinking about starting a thread with before and after pictures to show the progress and such. I just haven't had the time recently. With deep stains it can take days and days to lift. And yeah it is pimple remover cream. Can be found at dollar tree sometimes 5 below and I think walgreens.

To anyone interested check out hot toys stain removal techniques on y.tube. He uses a hair dryer instead of sunlight. Which also works just as good. I don't have time to work on one anytime soon and show progress but this guy explains it very well.

This is a life saver if it works I have older Jakks CS with serious black shirt stains and they were like that right out of the package. I tried everything even put up a post on it. Does anyone know if this will work on yellowing also?

Does anyone know if this will work on yellowing also? It works on discolored white legos that look yellowish from the 70s/80s. Check out that video I mentioned he explains it pretty well. But again it is a process and takes time to do this.

So, it’s the peroxide that is the active ingredient. I’ve used the highest grade peroxide available to non-salon practitioners (40%). It’s found at Sally Beauty and is called Salon Care. It’s less than $5.
Soak the discolored item in the peroxide (seal in a ziploc) and sit it in direct sunlight for one day. It restores discolored toys.
I used this method on discolored (oxidized/yellowed) Gi Joe vehicles and AWA Remco heads that darkened over time.

^using a very low grade peroxide will draw the process out drastically. I’d recommend using higher potency peroxide (aka not the stuff available for minor cuts).
