He would never sign a merch deal. If there’s one thing you’ve learned about professional wrestling it’s never say never. I am 99% sure he will wrestle again for the WWE whether it be in a few years for a brief run or a Bret Hart in 2010 kinda deal. .

I was quietly wondering if WWE weren't at least sending feelers out to Punk to check his availability for, say, the first week of October. Chances on that happening so soon are next to nil, according to the records I've read about their fallout. And while I hate missing out on future products (like another DVD), I wouldn't mind him sticking to his guns and never showing back up in WWE.

He never had the chest tattoo with the longer hair, did he? Oh yeah. Forgot he had new tats throughout his career. I guess the extra T-shirt is the fix. Still works as long as you keep the shirt on. I think I’d prefer a couple of different heads with the slicked back hair. One smirking, one straight faced, one angry.

CM Punk needs WWE like Kurt Cobain needs a hole in the head. But... Kurt was killed

I could see punk doing the y’all of fame in a few years, but that’s it.
Guy is done with wrestling and doesn’t need the money.
As he said in the espn interview.. He’s over all the issues he had and he’s not the same guy he was 5 years ago.

I don’t see Punk having any kind of involvement WWE ever again, and if he were to, it would be way in the future, like decades IMO. Punk has said recently that he has no problem with WWE any longer and he's way past it, but he also isn't the same guy he was then. I don't think he'll ever return to wrestling, maybe for a HOF induction, but I think mentally he's moved on.

I doubt he’d jump back into working with them. I could see a HOF induction in like 15-20.

If he's not mad, I'd sign a merch deal. Extra money never hurt anyone and I'm sure his fans would love new figures and playing him in a game again.

Yeah he’s over the bitterness but he isn’t going to want to work with them because then they make money off him and he will have gone back on his word, which is the one thing he’s got now that the UFC took away his credibility.

I'm sure if Punk & WWE tried to work together on a merch deal......
The whole thing would end in an ugly lawsuit within 6 months.....

The only reason CM Punk will return is if they put in his contract "creative control". No way I expect him to return only to be misused

Better chance of Martha Hart signing a deal with WWE. You have a better chance of Nailz making amends with WWE

Punk is a big enough name where he doesnt need the WWE machine to make money from merchandise. Nobody knows the exact numbers but he can get 10% of the cut from a WWE merch deal or something like 30%-40% cut from a place like ProWrestlingTees.
