I've been thinking about checking which Jakks CS figures are in relative scale with Mattel to display with one another and if anyone has done this in their displays and if it looks good. The first ones that come to mind are Giant Gonzales and maybe Harley Race, Abdullah The Butcher, and Powers of Pain. I'll dig deeper into this tomorrow and do a little side by side comparisons with them. If I do integrate them it would have to be very close in scale. It would be nice to get a little more mileage out of the CS.

It depends. I kinda feel a little ocd when I put Jakks with Mattel. I usually have them separate. There’s like a clear line between the two 😂

Giant Gonzalez might be the only one who would fit in with Mattel. Andre the Giant is the largest Mattel Legends figure but a typical Jakks CS figure is bigger

I display my Jakks and Mattel figures mixed together...If I had to get separate guys from each line just because they were made by different companies, I'd have spent double the money and taken up twice as much room as I already have. Yes the scale isn't perfect, but it isn't perfect from guy to guy within Mattel either (eg. Vince).

View my collection post. I have hundreds of figures and are displayed by eras. Jakks and mattel all mixed together like a blended family

The only things from Jakks I even use anymore are a Flair robe, Deluxe Aggression elbow pads to use as elbow and knee pads for elite Brock Lesnar’s, and the odd weapon here and there

That's like mixing peanut butter & mayonnaise...just cause they both go on bread, dont mean they go together.

He's not really a Classic Superstar, but the Jakks Great Khali fits in well with my Mattel 06-07 collection. Also have a Deluxe Big Show with a RA head in there, fits well in with the Mattel's too.
Little bit of cross contamination, but i'll let it slide.

I’ve got giant Gonzalez in with my Mattel’s. Just took a pic in my summerslam 93 thread in the pics board.
I also find any female jakks figures fit in just fine. I’ve got a Sherri and couple of others in and they look fine.

Well I tried a few on. As was said earlier Giant Gonzales and Zeus fit great as do the Powers of Pain. Abdullah the Butcher kind of fits in but I dont know if I'll keep him there. I havent tried Mr Fuji yet I'd love to pose him with Demolition but I doubt he'll fit in.

Of course! Until Mattel makes those characters, the Jakks versions stay in the collection.

I mix them. I have all jakks classics abd only buy figs from Mattel that Jakks did not make.
