I'm a typical child of the 80's I was 9 when Hulkamania started running wild, brother. I was lucky and had a neighbor who was a longtime fan, and was quickly introduced to the NWA, AWA, WCCW, and others. Been a fan ever since (to varying degrees) I had @ 3/4 of the LJN figures & the ring. I also had (and preferred playing with) most of the AWA Remco line, including that ring as well. Even though I was an avid wrestling fan, and a collector of baseball cards & such, I never, EVER thought there would be a demand for collecting my old toys. If I knew then what I know now.... Fast forward to present time, and I stumbled upon the Figure It Out series on YouTube a couple of months ago and found it very entertaining. From there, I came across the Major Brothers YT series, and between the two, I've developed an affinity for this hobby. I don't think I will ever get as seriously into this as the rest of you guys and gals are, but I have decided to start a small collection of figures of my current favorite wrestler, Mustafa Ali. So here is my entire collection so far….. consisting of one whole figure . I went for the red variant, mainly because red is my favorite color. I’ll eventually buy the yellow version and get the 2 basics as well. I’m thinking I will wait a bit on those and see what might cycle through the nearby retail stores. (Newest ones I’ve seen out here are the E-68 and Basic 99, so there’s still time). If not, then give the prices a bit of time to come down a bit before ordering any. I did find it curious that Ali went from no figures released to four in the span of just a couple months. Hopefully that’s a good sign for his career, and my enjoyment of his work. Cheers, Sharky

Ali is cool AF. Been wanting them to make a fig of him forever.

Welcome! Tread carefully, though ... you say you'll start slow and next thing you know you'll have 1,000 figures like the rest of us.

I think the wife would kill me if I have a thousand toys floating around the house. Now, when the grandson is a little older, if HE want a collection, I might have to be the willing enabler...

So Series 69 finally appeared at the WalMart closest to me. I have the Chase Red, but the Yellow should be easier to find, right?
Well, the only Ali in stock? ... The chase Red.
I'll try again in a couple weeks.
