It doesn’t matter it won’t work in the store. The stores go by the dpci # that’s on the peg for Elites. If you use an individual on Brickseek or Popfindr to find it in a store you’ll never find it. You need to use the main Elite DPCI and when inventory goes up by 8 pieces then you check the store.

When the Nicki Cross set was new I bought most of the figs from that set & each one has their own individual dpci # on the receipt. Is that the case now for elites after 66 on the receipt or did they go back to having one dpci # for all elites after 66?

The only way you’ll see an inventory change is if you type in the main Elite DPCI or give an employee the main DPCI. That is the number the actual stores use for their systems inventory. The individual dpci is only for filling online orders. Because you are ordering a specific figure in an assortment. It’s not used at the store level because they just put the figures on the pegs. It was the same thing with the Mattel DC Universe. I gave my friend the individual DPCI’s for the Kyle Rainer Green Lantern and Batman Beyond and he said they weren’t in the system. Then I had him scan the actual peg for the Multiverse line and it showed a case in the back and I got the two figures.

Deliveries are presorted at the distribution level - otherwise, a truck full of boxes for every department would have to be scanned in one at a time in order to populate in the store's inventory. Instead, it's done when the trucks are loaded, so that a bulk manifest can be entered in upon receipt. That's why assortment numbers all fall under the parent DPCI, which applies to the case itself, and not the specific contents within. If your store starts at zero, jumps to 16 on truck day, and is showing 14 by the time you catch it on BS or PF, you only have conjecture to lead you toward which two figures were sold.

When you put the DPCI # in the product search on Popfindr it will tell you an inventory count for the stores in the area. When you look check for a store with limited stock of 3 pieces or less. Then keep checking daily when that store’s inventory goes up by 8 pieces (a case count) go to that store.

Her number is a separate number from the Elite wave. It comes up as miscellaneous in the system.

Went there around 11am, they said nothing in inventory, 1 on the floor, 0 in inventory, 8 on hand. Came back at 6pm, and boom. All series 8 up there. Probably was on a pallet in the back waiting to be stocked. Thanks again PJ for letting me know how it works at Target.

You wouldn't mind pointing out your explanation of "how things work at Target"? I'd appreciate it. For some reason popfindr states that my targets both have 8, however none out. Do they keep them in the back?
