I'm under the impression that all of Mattel's knee pads are the same. There is no left or right knee pad. Am I off here?

Possibly there is a difference. If you took the pads off of a figure and swapped them it wouldn't look right. I don't know if it's because they're different molds, or if it's because they take shape after being on the figure a while. Hard to explain but they're curved a certain way almost. Here are I think E69 Miz's or FC Bryan's, I forget which. The first photo is how they came on the figure, second is when you switch them around. To me, there's a clear slight shape difference.

Most of them have an R or an L moulded on the inside of the pad.

They're curved for the specific arms or legs
