Now that we got our first green strap with the Taker figure. Anyone tried to do
1. The green strap intercontinental title of tito santana and greg valentine from 84-85 ?
2. The green strap wwf title of bob backlund, iron sheik, hulk hogan frim early 80s ?
3. The green strap wwe greatest royal rumble of braun strowman from last year ?

My belt-making aunt said she had done all of these customs, but she won’t send me any pictures. I think she’s either making it up or she bought them on eBay.

My uncle actually found a Top Picks Braun Strowman once packed with a green belt that was pretty obviously the strap from the aforementioned Undertaker figure. At first he thought it was a repack, and at closer glance, just assumed the belt was custom made using the UK title included with the Tyler Bate figure. However, upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a whole new plate sculpt, clearly intended to represent the title Braun was awarded following his victory at the Greatest Royal Rumble.
I didn't need this figure as I already have the Top Picks Braun with the much more superior cello accessory as well as several strong feelings regarding the WWE's dealings with the Saudi government, but nevertheless, I have no reason to doubt the veracity of my uncle's findings, given his prominent status as a truck driver in the states.

Just one comment. The wise cracks are funny but remember this is still a human being with feelings posting here.
Criticism is fine, but I think it's time to move on from the ribbing. We're a very small community, a lot of people are outsiders... afterall, we collect toys. Let's remain an inclusive and accepting board. That's why I started posting here. I have a family, a lot of friends, and a successful career BUT no one knows about my love of wrestling figures - I'm embarrassed by it, but I have this community of people with a similar love.
The point is, let's look out for each other and move on.

You can keep your hope's up about those belts but fans have been asking for a yellow Intercontinental title that Ultimate Warrior had and we have yet to receive that.

Just because there’s a green strap doesn’t mean we suddenly have access to the plates. Not sure how you think one would go about making a Backlund/Sheik world or Tito/Valentine IC with a ecto green winged eagle.

The side plates on the 1/1000 belts are similar to the old green championship. If they change the strap to green and change the center plate, then it's possible for Mattel to create.

It doesn't increase the value, and it's such a weird requestIt's all part of the experience of meeting someone larger than life & and idol. Value is meaningless if it means the world to you, to have someone you look up to personally sign an autograph on one of your items, especially if it's directed to you. |

When i will get the title in hand, i will try to do something with it. 1of 1000 title is a good chiice to create to Backlund title, also any okd school inter plates can do the jib for the tito/valentine title. For the greatest rumble title , it wont be easy because the main plate was the wwe logo but smaller than the generic universal or wwe title, side plates , i dont care even there is no tree and sabers.
The 24/7 will comes surely with a green strap too, maybe less fluo.
To create the wwf tag titles of tge samoas/ johnson-atlas / murdoch-adonis, had red straps like the universe title but i dont have another set of plates of the wwf tag titles.
I will try to create the bray wyatt blue universal title with bkue strap, and generic plates.

I bought a 1 of 1000 belt off of here from someone, they scratched off the name & number, repainted the plates gold and painted the belt green. It actually passes off as the big green belt very well IMO. Probably the closest thing unless mattel eventually releases one.

Does indifferently chiding those you critique who call you out on it fall under "inclusiveness" or "acceptance"? Mine , still has the name MVP on the belt, all mattel titles should be with leather strap, easier to put on the figure, and it looks great too. |
