With targets already getting elite 73 without Peyton Royce once again, I’m starting to wonder what happened to those elite 71 cases they spoke of, hopefully they just do what Walmart did and put ohno and Paige on the target app in decent quantities.

Probably the same thing that happened to my dog: they got sent to a farm upstate New York

They’re okay for what they are. It sucks that some stores aren’t getting them now??!!

Is there a way to find Ohno, Paige and Royce on the Target app currently?

Is there a way to find Ohno, Paige and Royce on the Target app currently? theres no pages for them at the moment, heck there’s not even one for liv Morgan even though sonyas been in stock several times, hopefully they get added eventually because it seems like the stores sure aren’t getting em in cases that much anymore.

I dread the series with the Target exclusives. Walmart has been so much better. I’ve only seen each target one once. Ohno and Paige I paid a board member in Canada for bc I have a feeling they’re never showing up. Plus they’ve already moved past to elite 72 in my area.

None of the stores I visited had E70 so I had to get Brisco off eBay. Thankfully the price had dropped to a hair above retail so I took my lumps there. Like I said in my essay of a post above, if a program like this is to be effective, they have to be consistent and on point with making sure the stores get the right cases and a Walmart case doesn't end up at Ringside for instance. I like the idea of putting them online on Walmart/Target's site since they still get the money, just not as much in-store traffic.

Target should just be ashamed by the single fact that at any point people go “Walmart has been so much better!”

You can't find anything, let alone chases, if Walmart orders one Elite case every 4 months. Can't find Target ones if they choose to only order top picks and their network spotlight line and fill all the elite pegs to the brim with the same 4 characters.

Early on I had more faith in Target as I mentioned earlier I got Dunne and Wolfe almost instantly and had great luck with NXT 4. I think the turning point was around that time as stores started getting cluttered with E68 that wouldn't move and I have no faith in the distribution bouncing back correctly at this point. Every store I saw get a restock recently got either E70 or E68, which gave me false hope I can find my Liv or Kassius but I am starting to lose hope, let alone worry about Peyton. Now I am just hoping I can get the non-Chase Aleister Black with how quickly some of these lines are going in and out of store like E71 and E72.

With at least 2 scalpers in my area, I really have no chance with exclusives. I was even at Walmart twice within 19 hours this week and in that time they put at least 2 cases of Elite 73. By the time I got there, Aleister Black was the only figure missing and 2 popped up on evilbay in my area. Just hoping I can find Gorilla online at Walmart

What I think Mattel is doing is pushing out these new elite and basic style boxes first for Christmas Im seeing the new basic boxes and the new elite boxes at Target and Walmart I'm still pretty sure after Christmas we'll start seeing elite 71 with Cassius and Paige in stores Imo.

You are rather optimistic and have been given absolutely no reason to be.

The retailers distribution centers just push out the product as they receive it instead of sending the older stock they have been sitting on as that is faster than the normal FIFO method. (First in first out) once the holidays are over and they do their inventory in January they go back to FIFO and start shipping out the product they have been sitting on.

See you say that and while it’s great in theory, it’s not actually accurate. We are about to go into that period where stuff starts getting marked down, stores don’t get currently delivers and just start putting toys wherever to make room for a new plangram in a few weeks with new stuff. It’s how we get the all the posts “I went to my Walmart and they don’t even have a spot for Wwe figures! They are getting rid of the line” The first target set to hit stores after the holidays was indeed the set with Dunne. Not really a wave of old figures or anything.

Mattel has shipped the new years product to the distribution centers and the distribution centers just ship it to the stores rather than rotating it with the stuff they already have. Then once inventory is done and the Distribution centers start shipping to the stores again (usually late Jan/early Feb) the stuff that was “missed” is on the pegs. Which then leads to members on this board who were complaining in Nov/Dec about how their stores were “passed over” on certain waves now complaining that their stores are now “getting old series” instead of the new product when the store does their Jan reset. Every year it has been the same thing. I expect it to be no different this time.

Yep its definitely new stuff getting put out while old stock sits in overstock. It's done to cut down hours as well. Instead of stocking merch that has been in overstock and then over stocking what comes in, everything comes off trucks and onto pallets and then shoved onto the sales floor. It cuts time in half.
Distribution centers are ran the same way. They dont care about series, its man power and hours. Retail doesnt "settle" until roughly April.

Last year Walmart got E62 after E63, right around the time that Target started getting E64. While some of their stores got nothing. So I don’t have a gd clue what’s gonna happen this year and I’m starting to care less

Never had a problem with exclusives but I do get worried that can change.

Never had a problem with exclusives but I do get worried that can change. It's been a rollercoaster for me. One month I'm swimming in figures, including exclusives. The next I'm having no luck. Way of the road, boys.
