Just as I’ve use all sorts of figures as wrestlers, I’ve used my wrestling figures for virtually every combat sport I’ve ever studied. Amateur wrestling, BJJ, Catch as Catch Can, Sumo, Boxing, Kickboxing, MMA, even powerlifting meets with home made barbells. I’m a dork, you should all know this 😂
I want to hear about your stories using wrestlers and playing through other combat sports or other sports in general. Preferably using Mattel figures since Mattel elites are so good at so many movements. Aside from the starting position, I’ve found mattel’s Super heavyweight figures are awesome sumo wrestlers. And yes I mean besides Yokozuna and Rikishi. Lol

The Shield typically double as SWAT goons for Batman or whoever to beat up on a shelf display.

Not really for other combat sports...
But i gave Triple H a shovel accessory once and stuck him in the Dragon Ball Universe. They never stood a chance.
Also used Dragon Ball figures in the ring.

This reminds me. When I was younger, I used to take the ropes off a ring, and use my Dragon Ball Z figures in it, and recreate the Cell Games.

Used my wrestling figures as collateral damage for Marvel legends city battles growing up.

I mix mine all the time with figures from other lines. Such as Kane doing a suplex to a LegacyGreen Ranger or Kurt Angle doing tag team with Captain America.
Oh, and Batista wrestling with himself (legends Drax)

With my old RA Jakks, I'd do some MMA combat fighting, KO or submission to win. Also some football-style rushing scrimmages, 8-on-8. Toward the end of my Jakks days I was more interested in playing those types of things over actual wrestling, in fact.

I had Dolph Ziggler in an Elf on the Shelf display once. The Elf had a sticky quip with an amazingly long burp, ala Will Farrell in Elf. Dolph was at the same table and his facial sculpt (E24) looks like he was laughing and the mini Barbie was blushing so the whole scene tied in perfectly. I had social media at the time and the photo went over well but it was Dolph’s reaction to the burp.
