Looking forward to hearing Marino's thoughts on these two Title matches from today, even he can't be positive about these two horror shows. O ye of little faith. I bet he can.

Hopefully Drew vs Lesnar is the main event. I can make some snacks and have a piss during the Roman vs Oldberg 5 mins match in the middle or start of the show.

Who said it would be Roman Reigns and Goldberg? I still think it is funny that Vince McMahon tried to screw over WCW guys and now he depends on them to bring in money.

Honestly...why wouldn't they have just had Goldberg beat Bray for the belt? I think less people would have had an issue with that. You couldn't kill the Fiend with a hugging sledgehammer, but a 53 year-old jackhammer can do the job?

See this is exactly what's wrong with WWE. The current two champions are part timers who can't even do long matches while the guys who are on the road all year are made to look like fools.
It's 2020 a new decade and the WWE are relaying on guys from 20 years ago who don't even put on decent matches.

I’m confused, wouldn’t you all rather Roman bury Goldberg at Mania, then the Fiend? Sure, The Fiend took the loss today, but it was at a house show - it won’t matter in 6 weeks. Mania is now; Roman V Goldberg (likely winner, Roman) The Fiend V Cena (likely winner, The Fiend) Seems better then: Roman V The Fiend (likely winner, Roman) Cena V Elias... (likely winner, who cares!!!!) 🤷♂️

It's not even comparable. Jericho has put his life into wrestling and was having half hour epics in Japan just a few years ago. He's taken breaks, but he's always been around the business. Goldberg has had 7 matches since 2004 and is in his 2nd world title reign 😂 To be fair, nothing Jericho has done in NJPW or AEW has been anywhere near “epic”. Other than the build up to the matches. The build up to the Wrestle Kingdom 12 was great. The match was mediocre. Compare that to Goldberg's build. Appear via satellite then come face to face with your opponent for the first time 6 days before your match. Ridiculous. Kill off your biggest creation for years on 13 days.

Goldberg/Roman makes sense to me. Goldberg is the bigger "main attraction draw" compared to The Fiend. More casual fans know Goldberg. If Roman beat the Fiend at Mania he would be booed out of the building. Now, Roman will be beating the guy that beat The Fiend. Who do "we" hate right now? The guy that beat The Fiend, our favorite. So now "we" will cheer when Roman takes it off of him! I think it makes sense, plus it opens up the Fiend to fight Cena. One last person from Fiend's past he has yet to rectify! Him finally beating Cena at Mania, like what should have happened at 30, will finally happen! Plus, I think Goldberg/Roman will be a fun match! I think this all worked out pretty well!

If I had to make a solid guess as to what wrestlemania will look like at this moment:
Roman v. Goldberg Undertaker v. Fiend
The only way I could see the Undertaker match changing is if AJ actually antagonizes it further on Raw which my gut says is not going to happen.
I have no idea what they’re going to do with AJ at this point which is a huge miscalculation!
Thoughts?

I can't wait for Ruby Riott and Dakota Kai to dethrone Goldberg and Brock Lesnar respectively

I don't even like the Fiend, but if I was in his shoes, and they told me 85 year old Gillberg was gonna go over they'd have to drag me down to that ring.

I was home today from work, but I didn't really feel like watching the whole show until I saw The Fiend vs Goldberg was happening. I tuned in time for the Fiend's entrance. I disliked the idea of Goldberg beating The Fiend. I was listening to Solomonster reviewing the show, and one fan who called in was saying that it seems like on the RAW side, they got their s*** together with what big matches are happening for Mania. You got Brock vs McIntyre, Orton vs Edge, Becky vs Shayna, you can sorta count Charlotte vs Ripley, though that's more NXT. I also feel they planted the seeds for AJ vs Taker at Mania. However on the SD side, we think they're going one way, then they go another. The main event did more harm with this, because another point where they could have gone is, John Cena's returning tomorrow night on SD. Wouldn't it had made more sense for Cena to come back to SD so he can chase title #17, and face The Fiend at Mania, with Fiend getting his win back from Cena all those years ago. That makes perfect sense storyline wise, cause other than that, what's Cena's motivation to return to SD after all this time? And also, if they wanted to make Goldberg vs Roman at Mania like it's been rumored, they didn't need the title for that, unless the theory that since Roman's winning the title, there's a safer bet with Goldberg dropping the belt to Roman and the crowd doesn't turn on Roman cause it's a part timer losing the belt to a full timer. Better thing to do was Goldberg vs Roman, dream match, no title in stake, and Cena comes back tomorrow, announces he wants in the Elimination Chamber match, wins it, faces Fiend at Mania, Fiend retains, then build Fiend vs Roman at Summerslam, Roman wins. Now another thing they could do, is Goldberg drops the belt back to Fiend at Elimination Chamber cause hey let's have a title change in Saudi Arabia, hey that moment's over, now let's have Fiend win again, and then drop the belt to Roman like planned. Let's add more to the clusterf*** that we created on Smackdown.
Now, was I upset that they fed the Fiend to Goldberg? Yes. Was I enraged with anger, screaming F*** WWE cause they did that? No. Cause at the end of the day, I hardly watch the weekly shows on either company, I only follow the shows through highlights, so at the end of the day, WWE doesn't gain nor lose a viewer with me not watching cause of Goldberg. It is what it is.

I think the reason why Goldberg won the title is because they didn't want the fans to boo Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. I was never a fan of Bray Wyatt as a world champion especially as The Fiend. He is special attraction and doesn't need a title to be over.
So the planned matches Mania are Lesnar vs. McIntyre Goldberg Vs. Reigns Lynch Vs. Baszler Cena Vs. Wyatt Undertaker Vs. Styles Edge Vs. Orton Flair Vs. Ripley
