Was Alicia Fox released or did she retire? WWE never announced anything.

After rehab I believe she quietly retired. She last made an appearance during one of those RAW episodes where where they bring back past stars.

She hasn't openly said she's retired, but her contract with WWE expired while she was in rehab for alcoholism.

She's an alcoholic I belive, which does take up quite some time.
As a wrestler she was hopeless I thought she had potential as a valet as she's annoying as hell and a natural heat magnet. give it 10 years and she'll either be fully recovered and in the Hall of Fame or selling pics of her tits for 20 bucks like Sunny.

She wasn't hopeless in the ring, and was certainly a better wrestler than, say, Liv Morgan is.

I have always said that she is legit the worst in ring performer I have ever and I mean ever seen. She was super pretty and she could be a good heel as she could get under your skin. However, she never in a million years should have been in the ring. How someone can do something for 10 years and still be horrible at it blows my mind. Everything she did, even running looked super awkward.
She always comes across as a super nice lady though and the fact she is getting help for her troubles is good. The fact that she lasted 10 years and survived a ton of talent cuts is impressive. Still, if I had to pick a worst wrestler I have ever seen it would be her. Not to completely bury her, I do feel that her as some kind of heel manager that had a stable of talent under her could have worked really well.

I’m guessing she quietly retired and WWE did not make a big thing about it. For those people negatively judging her chill out about her personal life. You don’t see her or people judging your demons. As for her in ring performance, I thought she sold moves well, had her fair share of botches, but never really took off as the girl she could have been. I think creatively she didn’t resonate with many. Hence the unnecessary hate comments about her.

If Alicia Fox is the worst wrestler you've ever seen, you obviously never watched during the original run of Tough Enough. I still can't believe they actually let Jackie Gayda and Shaniqua have matches on TV. At least Maven had a decent drop kick. I mean, there's something to be said for being super green, but most people work years to even reach the WWE stage. When it comes to worst WWE Wrestlers ever, most of the TE crowd were far worst than Alicia, Morrison and Miz excluded.

I never was a fan of her but I’m sorry to hear about the alcoholism. It’s really horrible what that can do to your life.

Alcoholism sucks. I know 2 people who were once Alcoholics. They overcame it though

Alcoholism sucks. I know 2 people who were once Alcoholics. They overcame it though It's one of the most difficult substance abuse issues to overcome since it's a socially-accepted state until it becomes completely debilitating. She also chose a profession where overindulgence is prevalent, and alcohol is readily available. I thought she was a solid performer overall. Her in-ring timing was a little suspect at times, and it took her some time to find her groove on the mic, but she got there. It wouldn't surprise me to see her return to wrestling in some capacity at some point. She would hardly be the first wrestler to need time off to deal with addiction before resuming a career.
