Their stuff in NXT vs American Alpha & DIY was brilliant....incredible matches. BUT when they came to the main roster? They looked small & I knew Vince would do zip with them.(To his credit he did more with them than I thought)....I think they could have done great things back in NXT & helped that brand.

Their tag team title reigns on the main roster were short and meaningless! I doubt either guy is going to ever be a big singles star, but as a tag team they’re gold. Cross between Brainbusters and Midnight Express.

Beautiful Bobby Eaton is better than both of these guys combined.

I think their best opportunity is at AEW. I think it's easy to see (unless your blinded by tribalism and vitriol) that AEW is a land of opportunity for valuable assets that WWE didn't capitalize on. As much as people want to say its "WWE castoffs" or whatever that AEW likes to pick up, I see it more as the aforementioned opportunity for some wrestlers, and that is no different for the Revival and what they bring to the table.

People calling the Revival wwe rejects is incorrect. You see WWE wanted them to stay and offered them 7 figures for over 3-5 years. Revival rejected that.

WWE releasing a tag team is never good news, I'm tired of seeing New Day and the Usos. Sadly The New Day and Usos are the Four Horsewomen of the tag division.

I don't understand the blind allegiance to WWE and hitting these guys with cheap shots on the way out. Y'all are coming off hella bitter. It's one thing if you didn't enjoy their matches, but just because they're leaving your favorite promotion doesn't automatically make them terrible wrestlers. I think it's commendable they each turned down SEVEN FIGURES! I thought their NXT matches were unreal. They were a huge asset to that brand. I think they're really talented guys who were under utilized by bad creative. I'd love to see them in AEW, but it'd be just as cool to see them in NWA, or NJPW. These guys are betting on themselves and think they can do better outside of the WWE (which I 100% agree with). Sadly it’s what WWE fanboys do. Rhodes and Moxley were both trashed as WWE cast offs for betting on themselves and look where they are now. I’m excited to see what the Revival do going forward. I think a run in NJPW would do wonders to building their brand back up.

About time. They were a bad fit in mainstream wrestling, and Undisputed Era have a stronghold on NXT so there wasn’t even a spot for them there. They’re definitely better suited to niche wrestling and had some buzz a few years back with the Bucks so AEW seems a natural fit. I’d like to see them in NWA though, given their love of the old school stuff.

This is a bummer, they're a great tag team.
Clearly they weren’t happy with their situation in WWE for whatever reasons they thought. I mean, multi time tag team champions across all of WWEs brands is about as good as it gets for a tag team...? But hey, to each their own.
I really hope they don’t end up in AEW because that place sucks, but they probably will.

Props for them for giving up on a pile of money in order to work for a wrestling promotion.
Can't wait to see them in AEW.

I hope they do NJPW first and then end up in AEW or do both like Mox for example.

Good. They were ungrateful. Care to elaborate? Sure. They were pushed really well in NXT. They made it to the main roster where they were pushed as well, had tag title runs, were apart of good storylines, they had ample tv time, they were portrayed as a kick ass team, and made a hell of a lot of money. What the hell else did they want? The Vaudvillains, American Alpha, The Ascension, would have loved to be as pushed as The Revival were. And blah blah blah about them wanting to wrestle "better" tag teams. So what? Unless AEW is paying them more, they could have taken the seven figure offer and still be on tv every week for a company that has, and will always, have further reach to the public. Remember the golden rule of wrestling. If you're in it for more than the money, you're stupid.

WWE marks are bizarre...

Then they should pick up painting as a hobby.

They get the chance to make a lot of money and be happy going to work. That's a dream job and something a lot of people don't get to do. I don't see why that makes them stupid...
