It'll be interesting to see if/how WWE responds to this 2 days before their next earnings call and if their will affect their planned tapings.

wrestlingnews.co/wwe-news/wwe-source-responds-to-claim-that-people-are-being-forced-to-work-during-coronavirus/Claim of people being forced to work is already being rebuked by a "direct WWE source" via Wrestle Votes. While not being a demand straight from the top, I wouldn't question there are those who feel pressure to work, since "making your shots" and "next man up" is still prevalent in the culture. And seeing how Gov. DeSantis has handled things and the fact that Big Billy is pondering the idea of DOJ getting legally involved with states that have far-reaching closures, I doubt this will have any effect on the PC tapings lol

Meh. Let's be honest, even without any proof either way, people are going to believe what they want to believe.

As Jim Cornette often says, Vince "doesn't recognize sickness or weakness." Hopefully, this is one of those times where logic gets through to him, but it will be very interesting to see how Roman is treated after this.

It hasn't been lost on me in the past month that Samoa Joe picked a good time to get suspended.

WWE released a statement saying these claims are false. Take it for what it's worth:
“These accusations aren’t true. Employees know they can confidentially go to Human Resources, not the public. Notwithstanding the appropriate protocol, no one would be fired if they were uncomfortable with their surroundings. We’ve made accommodations for individuals upon request.”

While that would be true for most, I think Roman would receive more leeway on this regard like Cena and Bryan have on the Saudi trips. Any hard feelings Vince may harbor will melt away once Reigns is back in the locker room. At worst, it could cool off Roman's 6-year superface experience and give him the space to grow or evolve some. And as I always push for him to transform into a corporate heel, this second absence sets the stage again for a slow burn to start at his return. That has the potential to do wonders for all parties in the long-term.

I've heard that, and that elaborate plans were scrapped to explain his Mania absence. Still, I don't feel Vince can look into those baby blue contacts and stay mad at him forever. Or his dementia will just make him forget this whole situation and fire Head Creative for not pushing Da Big Dawg enough.

I think it's more of an "absence makes the heart grown fonder" than it is "bad Roman I'm angry at you" thing.

If Vince is mad at Reigns for backing out, then that would be messed up. Kyle O'Reilly is missing shows too because he is Type 1 diabetic and could get sick and die. Same for Roman who has a weak immune system as it is.

I wish that I could say that Vince is bigger than that, but his past actions suggest that when a wrestler goes in Vince's personal doghouse, the stay is rarely short.

Now I have my mother, and a few aunts who has type 1 diabetes.

Yes sir, Kyle has it, I saw it on his Instagram months ago.
I too have type 2 diabetes. Found out in January 2019. So I too am taking it all with caution right now.
Though with COVID19 I hear that people who are completely healthy get it and die, and 90 year old men and women with breathing problems and diabetes can survive it. So I am not sure what to think with this virus.

I guess it's the luck of the draw with this virus. Until a vaccine comes out, I'll never feel sorta safe to be around people. Especially since I work with stocking food. Hang in there bud
