Not sure if a 3 figure wave is a good thing. I’m afraid there might be a peg warmer or two in the set which could jeopardize future waves. it will be fine. all 3 figures are popular in their own right. Heenan is a legend, appeals to a lot, Razor is popular, Valentine is the "collector grail". plus the online pre-orders will lessen store inventory

I’m not sure Eddie can carry that case if they add more than 2 of him and not sure multiples of a suited Warrior and Mr Wonderful will sell.

Removing both Sting and Jake would be a killer. They need to release series 8 a little ahead of schedule and announce the series 9 lineup

Sting to AEW is odd considering he isn’t going to wrestle and Cody just said they never want an authority figure. Will he be yet another manager?

Sting to AEW is odd considering he isn’t going to wrestle and Cody just said they never want an authority figure. Will he be yet another manager? Honestly think it's just wishful thinking. AEW is losing money because of the pandemic and signing Sting makes no sense. More likely scenario is WWE arent reupping legends deals right now, or Sting signed a deal with Jazwares.

I've got the HOF Elite, which is the only Sting i need. Unless Mattel somehow had the rights to make a Bound For glory 2006 (and TNA Video Game inverted colours) Sting.
Seriously though, the way some people are acting over this is... Yikes. People saying the Legend's line is destined to fail again because of this, and the potential of Jake being cancelled, need to calm the hell down.
Series 7 will survive without Sting. As for Series 8, if Jake because unavailable in the near future (Before 7 is released), they could easily fill that spot in with a re-release, or fast track a planned figure for a future series, or different line.

I’m not sure Eddie can carry that case if they add more than 2 of him and not sure multiples of a suited Warrior and Mr Wonderful will sell. Orndorff is the only one in series 8 that I truly want. When they were shown at Toy Fair he and Sting were the two I was most excited for. And I planned on multiples of both. Eddie and Warrior I was/am planning on passing on unless there’s a Bogo sale, because I have enough Eddie figures with the WCW figure being my go to Eddie. And I have no desire to own a Warrior from the night before he died. And Jake while I will buy if releases I already have all his figures and the All-Stars is still my favorite. As for the handling of Sting not being in this set I have no issue with it. We know it had to be something that just happened because as of a week or two ago AFA seemed to believe it was still a go. So it had to be a last minute decision and that’s fine. But it was more of the figure itself as I said earlier in this post. They had the right to Sting for a few years now and we’ve been asking for an elite bright colored surfer Sting in either neon green or pink forever. Sure we got the Starrcade basic neon green, but it was grossly undersized because of the short legs it used. The last few basic Surfer Sting figures they corrected the height. But even then we didn’t get a pink attire. They waited on what should have been a no brainer figure to make. And the same could be said about Crow Sting. Now I was going to buy multiples of the L7 figure because it’s Sting, but again after the DM Sting we should have gotten an Elite FB of Sting in his most worn/iconic attire. But instead we got a modern Sting that was in a t-shirt, a modern Sting in his traditional crow look, the Wolfpac Sting. And then we were getting the L7 which was another niche attire. We got some WCW attires as basics, but again his Basics are noticeably shorter than his elites if the basics were the same height as his Elites this wouldn’t be nearly as hard to swallow as we would have most of what everyone wanted in a uniform look between the elites and basics. That said I am grateful for all the Sting figures they have given us. But a neon green or pink attired Surfer Sting and FB WCW Crow Sting in his most worn singlet should have been released in the core Elite line long before we reached this point. But it is what it is and we have to move on and hope he is resigned in the future.

Well that sucks. Felt like he just signed even though it's been 5/6 years.

Sting will come back, when Triple H puts him over at Wrestlemania. Yeah I love Triple H but come on Sting should have won.

People forget that wasn’t the reason why Triple H won, it was because at that moment the agreed main event to mania the next year was The Rock and Ronda vs Triple H and Stephanie. They wanted to keep Triple H strong for the angle later in the show and the main event the next year.

All I know is the green chase Jake Roberts better not be affected or I will type semi mean things online to people I've never met. Don't tempt me.

Ugh, I hope Money Mark and Cody don't scoop up Sting or Harley's rights. And I'm an AEW fan (even though I can't stand the Bucks,Orange Cassidy, or Marco Stunt)

Considering that WWE literally will randomly drop storylines from week to week or just pretend like things never happened, I find it laughable that they're worried about keeping Hunter strong for something a year out. This is the same company that needs to show you highlights of what happened 5 minutes earlier like their audience has the memory of a goldfish.

Considering they planted the seed for the match before the end of that very same show, they've planned Rock WM matches a year in advance before, Rock has confirmed he was in talks to have a program with Triple H at 32, and that it's been reported that was the initial plan for the tag match, it's rather obvious that was the direction they were headed.

The missing out on iconic/popular looks for certain wrestlers before their deal runs out makes me think about a certain episode of “Everybody Loves Raymond” where Debra makes Brisolle that everyone loves except for Marie who takes offense saying that was the meal she made for Frank that he said to her after eating it “Marry me Marie” so Frank says to Marie “you rarely make it for me anymore” and her reply is “I didn’t want to to grow tired of it.” And the Frank says...“I’m 64 years old what are you saving it for?!”
That’s exactly how I feel when iconic/popular attires are pasted on first for less popular ones and then the Legend contract ends before we can get the iconic/popular ones.

I’m not saying it was the right decision, I’m saying at that moment they prioritized the rock and Ronda over Sting. It wasn’t this whole anti WCW embarrassment of Sting thing that the internet has made up.

Dana White would not have allowed Ronda to participate in a pro wrestling match under UFC contract.
