Not sure if this is the right board to post this. Be warned of bidder pktran-45. He or she files fake returns by sending back damaged packages from their personal collection, and getting mint ones from sellers. They wait about 10 days after they receive the item to pull their scheme. I've already reported the account to Ebay. In this crazy time dishonest people have to try and cause trouble.

I recently sold a Rocky figure and had somebody do that to me. I have been reluctant to sell on there ever since.

Someone tried to do that to me with a TMNT figure once. So many dishonest people out there.

I only use eBay these days as a reference for good feedback when I sell through facebook groups. My current eBay profile was started in 1999 (I had one before that but that's a long story) and I'm still hanging on to 100%. These days eBay is super buyer friendly and then you get people like that guy that was on this very forum handing out a negative feedback because the guy didn't ship something on a Sunday. There are some people in groups that only do Friends and Family because some people have waited two months and then filed a claim with paypal. It's a crazy world.

I try to sell everything locally. I hate chancing it anymore.
Got taken BAD once and fairly bad another time on Ebay.

This happened to me once with a Funko Pop I sold. So now I take pictures of the item, the item inside the box, and a picture of the box itself at the post office before I mail it. Then I send those pictures to the buyer. Haven't had a problem since.

There’s still a chance they try to pull something but you eliminate significant risk up front by letting them know you’re paying attention.

I HATE people who pull stunts like that. It's the main reason why I no longer sell on eBay. The trouble is, eBay ALWAYS sides with the buyer and doesn't give a seller the opportunity to give their side of the story. Anyway, they're all...

It’ll all come back on these dishonest people when they’re kicked out of their parents basement.

I’m going to go put pktran-45 on my blocked list now. Thanks for the heads up!

honestly they wont go far..after the one or two faulty claims, ebay will flag them especially after they try it again and again. but thanks for bringing the user to our attention.
