Prior to the pandemic, I had plans to travel during the summer to the closest Canadian TRU, which is about five hours away. Now that this trip has been postponed indefinitely, this is a good time to ask: is the trip worth it? If I travel from Pennsylvania to the closest Canadian TRU, with I find an abundance of stock, or is it slim pickings in the northern TRUs? Not going to lie, I am a quite bitter how the US TRUs closed, and I am a little sad whenever I pass one of the former stores.

You will find a bunch of Shield Kurt Angles. It's not always slim pickings, but lately it has been, so it wouldn't be worth going right now.

No. Living in the U.S. you'll naturally find more newer releases.
Shield Angle, 63 Kevin Owens, Top picks AJ styles etc. are all you're going to see.
If we get one case of something new it's gone the same day.

I was going to take a short trip to Toronto in April just to go to Toys R Us, but obviously, COVID19 put the kibosh on that. Shopping at Toys R Us isnt something you can do in the US anymore and it was such a big part of my life, so for me, it would be well worth it.

Anytime I pass the old TRU buildings, many of which are still vacant, I get nostalgic. There once was a time that I could hit 5-6 TRUs in a day.

I often hear about how Toys"R"Us canada was usually well stocked with US target exclusives, so much so that people here wailing about how they can't find their toys claimed Mattel just dumped the stock on TRU Canada 🤦♂️

Elite 72 at toysrus was blink and you miss it.

Does Toys R Us Canada carry GI Joe Classified? I haven't been to a TRU since before they came out. I'm glad TRU is still alive here in Canada, but it's rarely worth a trip to check it. I think a few have mentioned finding them there.

Is there a reliable Canadian site that sells WWE Mattel figures? I'm in Edmonton and can't seem to find anything at TRU or Walmart. Was in Red Deer for work and finally saw new stock after weeks of nothing. I know Amazon has some stuff but like retail it is blink and you missed it. Thanks.
