Well i feel the need to vent. My Target sucks at stocking elites and marvel legends figures as well.
My local target just stocked some network spotlight elites, months after the fact. (What like 6 months too late)
This is the same target store i bought (3) e71 nikki bellas and gave them away.
The hope was they would restock some new elites so the cost of 3 elites would be worth it for the chance at new ones.
Well still no regular elites, 2 top picks aj styles, 3 wrestlemania matt hardy elites, no ulitmate elites for months and now it has a clearance label with nothing on it.
If Target does not give a crap about selling elites, marvel legends, etc, then just remove the damn labels for good and put some other crap in its place.
Maybe others have good targets where you live but i don't.
I at least have a chance in my area at finding new figures at walmart.
I found elite 76 at 3 wally worlds so far. So its not walmart, its just target sucks.
I also really don't want to hear about people saying its because of the pandemic.
Target has always been this hit and miss, with more misses that hits.

Oh, man. I hope my area restocks these things. I totally slept on that Asuka and that Jinder. They're not like, make or break needs for me, but I've got a little pocket change from my birthday, and I'd totally pick them up now if I saw them.
Series 2 would be a bummer, though.

Some around me are the same. Nothing but wrestlemania and network spotlight figures added to the shelves. only 1 I know stocks mainline but nothing more than 1 case at a time. so frustrating

Retail is a total waste of time. It’s easy to blame the lack of product on the virus but these stores have stunk for years.

Walmart’s like that in my area they get an elite case sell out in a day or 2 and then go months with empty pegs, at least target has some elites when I go.

The new stuff sells in 20 minutes...order more! They use to have specialist back when they paid people to be good at things. These days, the guy putting out the cereal is also putting out the toys. They have no idea what’s new, what needs to be ordered. It’s amazing, and I’m telling you from experience having worked at these places...it’s AMAZING ...ANYTHING.. NEW ..EVER gets onto the shelves. It’s luck at best

It’s luck at best you can’t blame the employees their just doing what they’re told, stocking is definitely an issue though especially at Walmart.

My closest Target has been dry since November of last year. That was the last time I saw any new figs there and picked up Liv, Ricochet, and Sonya. Only new things they got were the Royal Rumble elites back in January, the first Network Spotlight series, and the Wrestlemania Elites. The only elites that are on the pegs are the same AJ Styles that have been hanging on there since November. I don't give a heck about basics whatsoever, but at least they restocked up on basics and got basic 108. It's like they stock up on everything else but WWE Elites.

Sounds like almost every Walmart here in Canada, except we never got that Network Spotlight series or Elite 71...

I have to throw this rant out. I wouldn't put all the blame on stores. A good chunk of it but not all. I've mentioned it before even to AFA in the q&a. Wrestling toys are the red headed step child of the toy industry. They have the smallest presence on store shelves compared to Star Wars, Comic book toys, Transformers, Hot Wheels, etc. I'll go as far as to say Mattel probably doesnt push the WWE product as hard on the retailers as other lines. I see many many other Mattel toy lines well stocked and regularly restocked. If you look back as E68 which is went all in on the Elites they only get 1 case in. That 8 total figures and the desired ones are usually short packed to one per case. Of course with scalpers watching, crooked employees, and hardcore collectors that have the time to be at a store at any time leaves us high and dry. Honestly its rotten from Mattel corporate all the way to Walmart/Target stores. I wish someone cared enough about this really great toy line to make it more accessible. Im really waiting on how AEW figures are received by stores as far as distribution goes, retail space. Will they bunch them up with WWE figures and make their space even smaller? Who knows.

My whole thing is walmart seems to overall care more about selling wwe figures than target.
If target does not care about elites/basics then just pull the labels and stop selling them altogether.
Then the problem will be solved.
