Ive never sold a figure. But I did trade E30-something (I think) Sheamus for the arms, torso, and head of BAF Corporate Kane. Never got the legs, either. Its haunted me ever since.

I splurged on a massive lot to get me into the game. Had to sell some of the older, harder to find stuff to make back a bit of money back to justify the cost.
Wish I kept The Rockers, Yokozuna, E16 Nash, Hardcore Kane and DM1 Austin.

DM Bret Hart... I have no earthly idea what possessed me to sell it.

I just sold all 650+ of mine ... glad I did it. My son has a play room, I got plenty more money than I put into it and I dont have to worry about buying them anymore. It was fun for a few years, then it become obvious that it is starting to change and it isn’t worth it to continue anymore. hey old school collector your done collecting for good? Yep, it just wasn’t fun for me anymore.

RSC Scott Hall. Sold him when the E51 came out since I preferred the red and black Outsiders look to the black and white, but I honestly should have kept it. I at least sold it for a good price.

I usually don't think about selling, but I've been in hard times in the past and got rid of stuff. The biggest things I regret selling are the Toybiz 12" Sting and AJ Styles. Bought them new from Ringside at $20 each. Sold them when I sold off most of my wrestling collection in 2010-11 or so. A few years back I decided to start collecting Sting and AJ Styles figures. Just spent over $75 to get AJ back and will be looking at over $100 for Sting, and they don't show up on Ebay often. I kick myself a lot for getting rid of those. The Jakks stuff I sold, I don't miss for a second. I do miss my DC Universe Classics collection, though, as I sold it before I ever really displayed it all together even once. I sold off a chunk of my DCUC collection (Black Manta, Dr Fate, Power Girl, Green Arrow, Vigilante, Commander Steel, Blue Devil, OMAC) for almost nothing so I can get money to buy the DC Club Infinite Poison Ivy...and then the figure sold out immediately on Matty Collector Ouch! I kept about 40 of mine. I had probably 200 at one time, if not more. I kept all of the ones that were Super Powers figures back in the 80s, and all of my Hal Jordans. I really should have pulled them all out and displayed them together just once, if only to take a picture, before selling them.

DM Ultimate Warrior and Legends Series 4 Demolition. Was fortunate enough to get them back, but needless to say I ended up paying more than I did initially. In the case of Ax and Smash, a LOT more.

I essentially ended up collecting for free all these years and allowing someone to pay me to take it off my hands ... could care less what the buyer does with any of the stuff that I had ... and I had some gems.

How much did you get for 650 figures? I always wondered about how much I could get for the 300 (loose) I have, and I thought that was a lot of figures. Couldn’t imagine having almost 700 Mocs.

But if I did sale them, I know I’d be hanging around here and they would be a figure come out I’d want and it would ignite that fire to start back collecting then I’d regret ever selling mine.

Ouch! I kept about 40 of mine. I had probably 200 at one time, if not more. I kept all of the ones that were Super Powers figures back in the 80s, and all of my Hal Jordans. I really should have pulled them all out and displayed them together just once, if only to take a picture, before selling them. Here’s some pics of mine - Top -Top Shelf -Middle Shelf - Man, I loved DCUC! I was working so hard on getting that line done until Matty Collector. I had a hard time buying Wave 1 for $9.99 and then paying $25 plus close to $10 shipping for the ones on Matty. It killed the line for me. After that, the magic just wasn't there in my collection. Great collection!
