I've been collecting wrestling figures since 1985 and I really don't get worked up about figure issues like wrong colors, missing pads or tattoos, articulation or other things some collectors get worked up about. One thing that does bother me a little bit is scale. While displaying them, I like the scale of the figures to be accurate when comparing them to other figures based on real life height comparisons. It seems the the majority of the recent Elite women's figures are way too short when comparing them to the other figures (Basic or Elite). Natalya, Mandy Rose, Kairi Sane, Bayley, etc. look so short when standing next to the other figures. Natalya's basic figure towers over her Elite figure. Bayley comes up to Elite EC3's chest and Basic Zelina Vega is taller than all of those recent Elites. I hope that Mattel can make those Elite women's figures a bit taller as they don't even seem to be from the same scale line. Elites & Basics are supposed to be in scale with each other. I'm not trying to make a big deal out of this, I'm just seeing how other collectors of the women's figures feel about this?

Because the old ones were too tall. They fixed the scale

I'm not sure about that, the older women's figures seem to be more realistic in scale when standing next to other figures. Natalya, Mandy, Bayley & Kairi Elites go up to most male figures mid-chest instead of their chin.

Last year when Elite 72 dropped and we got Becky Lynch, I made the comment about how she was now shorter than Elite 53 Alexa Bliss....Steve from Mattel said the newer figures were be scaled properly and that Bliss figure was too tall.....Fast forward 10 series and a year later...They release Elite 82 Alexa Bliss and....Its the exact same ing size as Elite 53! They already half assed the figure by cutting the deco on the kick pads and shorts but they clearly didnt bother fixing the height either.

I believe the answer here is, as the kids say, “spreadsheets”

Why bother correcting the scale now after ten years of “tall” women figures? I mean, there’s well over 100 women Basic and Elite that are a “tall” scale. So now you’re gonna start scaling down? Pretty weird timing 😬 Height doesn’t bother me much unless it’s something major like Big Show and Drew Gulak strong eye to eye. But yeah, I didn’t notice Naomi looked a little dwarfed next to other women.

These last few women's Elites look like Hornswoggles' next to the other women's figures.

Now they are too small. I saw a photo of the new Mae Young next to a Mark Henry, and she looks much smaller than she did next to him in real life.
