Gotta pack up the collection to relocate into a new home. I’ve got lots of loose (Mattel, hasbro, LJN etc) and MOC. Tips for packing up? Baggy each figure and then some bubble wrap in between some? Any other tips to make sure everything makes it in the same condition I have them would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I've done this twice now, this last one I haven't even unpacked them yet cuz it was 2 weeks ago. All I did was wrap each one in a paper towel or walmart bag and put accessories in ziplocks. Mattels aren't as fragile as something like NECAs, as long as you aren't throwing the boxes around You'll be fine. I also loaded the box until it was full so no room for shifting and all the paper towel wrapping made for protection from paint rub as well as cushion between figures.

If you pack them in a bin, make sure you place them laying down head to toe on top of each other. One row, facing one way the next layer on top of that facing the other way. I find it easier for them not to move around when they're packed like that.

I just finished packing up most of my collection. I used zip lock baggies for everything and stored them in stronger totes. Everything is packed pretty tight so nothing can shift, but if I have extra empty room, I’m just going to stuff some extra shirts in there for padding

I just recently moved the majority of my collection to a new place.
I laid them down in a tub for two rows, then put bubble wrap between each stack I put my more valuable & personal favourites at the top, and gave them an extra layer of bubble wrap on top.

I always get heavy cardboard boxes that are square and have flat bottoms. Tubs and totes dont work because they always have ridges on the bottom aand arent square. Line the figures up in the box, standing up, and in rows. Fill up the box until they are really snug in there. Not so tight that you have to break them to squeeze them in, but snug enough that they dont have any room to move around. Then put some bubble wrap or blankets on top of them to fill up the top of the box before you close it.
Keeping them standing upright is the best way Ive found to keep joints and limbs from getting warped. Ive tried the other ways before like wrapping them up and laying them in totes, and I ALWAYS end up with figures with knees bent sideways or legs and arms permanently warped. Ive used the upright method for my last 10 or so moves and my figures are still in perfect condition after years and years.
