Hi guys,
I was hoping that some of you could help me out here or push me in the direction of somewhere that can.
My son who is 12 has started a YouTube channel where he reviews toys and streams from his PlayStation 5. It is a fun hobby and it has boosted his creativity so I am trying to support it as best I can. He only has 12 subscribers at the moment, but he seems to just have fun recording videos more so than trying to get tons of people to watch them. The thing is, he records off his PlayStation 5 direct to YouTube and he does the same kind of thing with the toy reviews on his phone.
We have a ton of consoles in our game room and he would like to record videos of him playing these, most notably he mentioned the Xbox 360. The thing is I have no idea to help him with this. I suggested that he set up the camera so it records to the TV, but he was disgusted with that idea lol. I had a quick look on Amazon and i can get a USB capture card thing for a pretty cheap price that would plug into his laptop is this what I would need to buy?
The problem would then be how would he record himself talking while playing on the 360? As you can see I have no clue about this stuff so if anyone could point me in the right direction so I could help him that would be great.
