I can't stand fans on social media (Instagram and Twitter) saying The Miz is the GOAT, The Miz's fist run as WWE Champion he only main evented as WWE Championship twice (WrestleMania 27 and Extreme Rules).

Not a fan of Miz winning the title, didn’t feel believable the first time around, still doesn’t now. Still assuming we’re going to hot potato the title yet again back to Drew before Mania. If Miz does somehow make it to Mania as champion, its clearly a “we dont give a f**k” attitude if there’s not going to be fans, to which in that case might as well go ahead and put the title on Bad Bunny, who gives a s#!t. My bigger issue though is we’ve seemingly fast forwarded right past this Drew/Sheamus feud. They spent months building it only to give it a quick Sheamus turn and a 3 week story that didn’t even lead to a match. I really miss the days when long term booking was a thing. The Sheamus vs Drew match for the belt is probably still coming. These two are the only two that can put on a Mania quality feud (outside of Fiend v Orton) for the RAW strap.

You don't need long term booking. But there needs to be a point to what you're doing. It is starting to feel like a George R.R. Martin story where the choices are random. Give Shinseki a massive push then never go back to it. Are we doing something with Orton/Fiend or not? Women's title match or not? Make a big deal out of Drew's feud with Sheamus then shelve it. There's seemingly no consistent story to push.

The Miz who is the WWE Champion (For no reason cause he isn't a main eventer in my eyes) and John Morrison are feuding with Damien Priest and Bad Bunny, which is currently a lock for a tag team match for WrestleMania. No disrespect to Bobby Lashley and what he can do in the ring but he can't cut a good promo on his own and that's why MVP does all the talking this has Lesnar and Heyman vibe going on but Lesnar is a mega star not Lashley. The WWE Championship match at WrestleMania should be Drew McIntyre Vs. Sheamus, that has a real story not Drew McIntyre Vs. Bobby Lashley. Now you can see that SmackDown is treated as the A show and Raw as the B show.

So happy Riddle won the US Title
I'm expecting Miz to drop the title to Drew or Lashley tomorrow or Fastlane then we get Drew vs Lashley at Mania for the title and Bad Bunny/Priest vs Miz/Morrison at Mania.
I'm glad that Bryan was the one that lost to Roman that way instead of Cesaro. Imo Cesaro still looked great in the Chamber, him and Rollins should be really good if that's where they headed with that. I think most people knew Edge was gonna pick Roman so it was no big surprise but Im looking forward to it especially if we get Christian involved in it too.

I was hoping Styles would win the Chamber match and then Edge would choose him.

Correct me if I am wrong here, but I swear on the pre-show I heard them say, that Asuka would be defending her WWE Raw Women's Championship against a mystery opponent since Lacey Evans takes the cream of the pie and got preggers.
Yet, no Asuka match. But I swear they said it was gonna happen on the PPV during the pre-show.

Now you can see that SmackDown is treated as the A show and Raw as the B show. I don't particularly like Sheamus....but that was the big push. I thought Sheamus blaming McIntyre was stupid. And the Elimination Chamber weakened the story they'd been building for months. I love AJ Styles, but I would've brought the Chamber down to Sheamus and McIntyre to bring some head to the feud, instead of just having it be an "oh, we were doing that? I forgot" moment. As much as I have always thought Lashley was a great talent....this last minute toss him in stuff is another bad direction to go. Miz has never been a serious contender to the world title...no matter how much they push him. And the fact that he needs Lashley to help him beat a guy who just went through the chamber makes him a joke. As much as I dislike Miz, I would've at least let him beat Drew by himself to give him a LITTLE credibility. Everything they did tonight was badly done. I agree with the later poster that I would've loved to see AJ vs Edge at Mania. I was secretly hoping for it before Edge speared Roman.

Thank you! So I am not crazy then for seeing that.
I honestly thought that maybe Becky Lynch or even Ronda Rousey was returning tonight if the WWE Title Elimination Chamber match was happening before the Asuka WWE Raw Women's Title match, and then the match didn't happen and I was like, "what the hell?!?!"

I only watch the PPV’s so I don’t know all the details of the storylines. I liked the first chamber match a lot BUT after it was over I was like, “Cool, now Bryan gonna face Roman at the next PPV.” Then I saw they were wrestling RIGHT THEN. Why? That is beyond any realistic world. To face the champion after all that was ridiculous. Predictable result. It was decent all around, I guess. Miz angle was telegraphed though. The gimmick they've taken with Roman is that he's essentially a corporate champion without a clear corporation to protect him. He's throwing his weight around backstage to gain an advantage. It was always advertised the winner of the Chamber would get a title shot the same night, so of course Roman would get to face his challenger right after a grueling match, that was the point.

Miz cashing in was cool. Finally something that feels slightly different.
I know it's been around for a few years but I still don't like this Chamber... just looks like plastic lol.

Speaking of Asuka, her last PPV title defense was back in September 27th, 2020 at Clash of Champions against Zelina Vega. What is the point on keeping the title on her if she isn't being booked at all, she is a cold champion at this point.

It's all starting to get a bit messy now. I thought Drew would win, go on to face Sheamus at Fastlane, and then have a Wrestlemania Match with a Shane McMahon or John Cena. I thought Lashley dropping the United States Championship would be to free him up so that he could potentially face Brock Lesnar. But now we have The Miz as Champion, Lashley now in the picture with McIntyre, and Sheamus still there. I would be shocked if Miz doesn't drop the Title even before Fastlane, was kind of glad to see it happen though, even with the false tease of Drew kicking out at first.
I think they just genuinely know that it's still a bit of a stretch to get McIntyre all the way to Wrestlemania, so they're just going to play around for the time being. Worst case is that they never really did have a plan for McIntyre at Wrestlemania even now, and they end up just doing some sort of random Fatal Four Way. I'm not a fan of McIntyre, I find him and his run incredibly bland, but it bothers be about the lack of plan heading to Wrestlemania.
The only other alternative, is that we somehow end up getting a Lashley vs Drew McIntyre vs Brock lesnar WWE Championship Triple Threat at Wrestlemania.

WHY IS THE ING REF ASKING IF MCINTYRE CAN "GO" ? Has to be an official match. It’s been that way for years. Then what’s the point of the MitB briefcase if they have to ask the champion if he can go to make it official? He can then just say he’s not then there’s no cash in match. That’s pretty stupid thinking on the wwe.

I mean the contract is to have a “match” whenever you want, it’s no whenever you want or why wouldn’t someone run the champion over with their car and just pin them. It’s always been that way.

yes Miz Bad Bunny is winning the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania No, I figure that Bad Bunny will cost Miz the title which will set up a match between them at Mania, or Priest/Bunny vs Miz/Morrison.
