Well, I just got a copy of the Marvel previews for the month October. It had a preview of the art in #500 and it looks as though..... Spoiler: Vision Dies. Also don't look for a Thor movie anytime soon because in November it'll be Thor's last comic because: Spoiler: Thor Dies! What do you guys think about this! I can believe killing off Antman and Vision but Thor!

Wrong board... Apparently the current Mods think comics should be discussed in the "Other Collectibles" board... Even though they're wrong. Anyway, how can Thor and Vison die? They're a god and an android, respectively.

They're a god and an android, respectively. I had no idea about the other collectors board being the board for comic discussion. That's dumb. Comics and books are entertainment. Oh well. I don't know how they die but it showed a picture of Vision and it looks as though he melted. He just melts and deteriorates from the picture. You can actually read the whole issue of #500 online here: Avengers #500And Thor I don't know but here's the description: Thor #85 Last Issue! The Death Of Thor! "It's the end of all that is, and you've got a ringside seat for the last day of the Norse Gods, as Thor struggles to break the god cycle once and for all! You must read this, True Believer - and here's a hint as to why: there's no Thor #86 next month.... And in #503 the preview says: The last page cameo will have the comic world talking for years!

Vision died a long time ago.. What issue? I just recently started collecting Avengers right after the She Hulk beserk storyline because of Hulk's apparance. So I guess that's Vision coming back from the dead then just as Jack Of Hearts does. So how did he die?

A) That's not the whole issue, is it? I was sure that the whole issue was 50 pages. B) It'll probably turn out to be a fake Vision or a hologram or something. Or a minion of Ultrons. And how can Thor die? They won't kill off Thor...

Thor isn't going to die. He's a founding member of the Avengers and one of Marvel's franchise characters.. What they shoud do, and probably will, is take Thor off the Avengers. He's a god... Make him go up to Asgard and reign as King. Relaunch his series as King Thor. They won't kill him off when he's only 40something issues from 500.
Vision probably won't die either. He's an android and even if he does die he'll come back as a different model. I'm not an avid Avengers fan but if I recall correctly he's died before and came back with no memory of what happened before. This happened right after Scarlet Witch chose him over Wonderman and Wonderman was bitter so he refused to give Vision his memories... But yeah, even if he does die, he'll be back.
If I had to bet on anyone dying, it's gonna be Pym. Bendis is a moron and hates the character. In about 50 interviews all he's mentioned is "Hank hit his wife.. Nanner nanner nanner." He obviously hasn't done much research at all since that happened a LONG time ago and all of the Avengers have forgiven him for it.. That line from Tony, "Don't you have a wife to hit?" was TOTALLY out of character and jst wrong... Bendis is a dick.
What they're doing with Avengers is stupid, too... They're putting all of their big characters on the team, bringing the title BACK to original numbering for 500-503, only to cancel it and start off with a brand new #1 in New Avengers... Mind boggling.

Well from what I read Pym does die in the beginning of 500. I read about that renumbering. They're going to give it a slightly different name though. They're going to add something after Avengers. Maybe Avengers Assemble?

Pym isn't Antman, Scott Lang is. It looks like he died in the beginning of 500, but I don't think he does.. Bendis said he absolutely loved the character so I don't think he'd kill him in the first few pages of 500.
Pym is Yellowjacket.
And yeah, the title is going to be called New Avengers.

I forgot about Pym being yellowjacket. I know he used to be antman. New Avengers? How many line up changes have they had in the past? Do they really need to change the title because of it?

They're completely changing the team.. Adding characters that are really popular.. It's gonna be a gimmick book. If you want something cool, read Sins Past in ASM, written by the awesome JMS... Now THAT is some good crap.. Avengers is probably gonna be lame because Bendis is just doing whatever the hell he wants.. He doesn't like a character, so instead of doing what he should do and writing them better, he kills them... He's a hack,

That's the current Spidey story right? Is Gwen really back or is that just a rumor? I read on Comic Continium that Bendis said Marvel gave him a list of characters that he could kill and he was surprised at some of the big names on there. So Thor may be one of them. I just hope it isn't Hulk. They already replaced his series with a useless Hulk vs Thing Mini-Series. The comic was going to hell anyway with Bruce Jones writing it though.

I don't know, I'm not reading spoilers for that arc because JMS is a fantastic shock writer and I loved to be surprised by his work. I doubt it is though
Thor won't die. Take my word for it. He's probably going to leave the Avengers though because he's above them. Think about it, he can take out most of their adversaries single handedly. He's just severely underwritten to keep things interesting on the series.
Hulk won't die. I'm positive he won't. Bruce Jones isn't necessarily a bad writer.. He's just not for Hulk.. I think he's going to be fantastic on Tomb of Dracula, though.

Or at least if he does write for a superhero he should at least do some research. He screwed up Hulk's Continuity majorly in the short amount of time he's been there. I don't think they'll kill of Thor either. There wont be a Thor #86 because they're going to renumber to #1.

Entertainment = Movies, Music, Television
Other Figures, Toys, and Collectibles = Toys and Figures that aren't wrestling related, plus other Collectibles that aren't wrestling related.
Now which board do you think this goes in?

They already replaced his (Hulk's) series with a useless Hulk vs Thing Mini-Series. The comic was going to hell anyway with Bruce Jones writing it though. I beg to differ. . . .Bruce Jones has attracted more new fans to Incredible Hulk in the last 3 years than you can shake a stick at. It's a more adult oriented story, not very kid friendly, but it's certainly not gone "to hell." From what I hear, and I hear a lot, the Hulk series is only going on hiatus for 6 months or so. . . .so, it's not being "replaced" at all. I guess time will tell. I'm kinda hurt by the fact that Thor will be dying. I know they're wanting a huge shakeup, but it's a bit too much. Kill Ant-Man? Fine. Kill (well more deactivate, he's a android) Vision? Uh. . .well, if you must. But KILL FRICKIN' THOR? B.S. I've always loved Bendis' stuff. . . . .but I'm really questioning this decision. I think this is the next step in the plot to f*ck the Marvel U up so badly that fans will be begging for it to be replaced by the Ultimate Universe. That way, they can do what they've been itching to do with a clear conscience.

At first with Return of the Monster he was great... After that it's all been downhill.. I want to see Hulk tearing crap up, not what we've been getting.. This past arc was a prime example.. It was publicized as Iron Man fighting Hulk.. What do we get? Seeing Hulk for all of 6 or 7 panels.. It's pissing a bunch of collectors off to the point of them making fun of it all the time. I'm telling you, Thor isn't going to die. If he does I will eat crow and then assasinate Bendis. The day they do that is the day me and a bunch of other fanboys burn down Marvel HQ.
