I just went yesterday and saw these ugly things next to the never moving Batman figure pile. They had a wicked joker that was too MTV-ish, a Bruce Wayne that turns into Batman with Armor, zipline Batman and all the other aqua/ice bat gimmicks. But you wanna know the only cool thing about these??? ELBOW ARTICULATION! Unthinkable, but they finally did it. Now if they would add elbow articulation to the regular Batman line it would be great.
Btw, is "The Batman" the new MTV show???

"The Batman" is going to be shown on Kids Wb and Cartoon Network, I think. I don't really like this new cartoon and figure line as I'm such a big fan of the "classic" animated look. I want to find the new Attack of the Pengiun boxset that's exclusive to TRU, and I still need to round out my Justice League lineup.

I actually bought the Joker. It's okay, but I will use the 4 Horsemen one as the real Joker. This new one will just be part of his gang like the Jokerz from Batman Beyond, Harley Quinn, and the Joker from McFarlane's Akira.

Mattel is actually relaunching the current Batman line, and making it more like the Marvel Legends. They actually debuted a Batman figure at SDCC, with ML style articulation.

It's nowhere near the quality of articulation in ML, though. No double knees & elbows, not ball-jointed hips. The only real difference I could see was a torso joint.
