I recently started collecting DC Direct Figures. I take all figures out of the package, and I noticed that that paint on the batman figure I purchased chipped and smeared with minimal handling. Now, I wasn't handling the figure roughly; I was just moving all of the joints and then placed him on display. Has this happened to anyone else, or is this just a fluke? I would like to keep collecting the figures, but if the paint quality is poor on all DC Direct figures, I don't know if I will continue.

No, that has not happened to me? Was it the Dark Knight Returns Batman or Hush Batman?
The only bad thing that happened to me was my Johnny Quick figure's arm snapped off right after I opened it on bmy birthday. Thankfully, I got another.

Only DC Direct fig I have is Red Tornado.
He Rocks.
I would buy more, but they aren't available at major retailers, and when I go to comic stores, I never see any I want.

I have the Eradictator (sp) figure and I think it is DC Direct. It is loose and on display, and I have not had any paint problems.
I am not too impressed with it though. Not very easy to pose or get to stand.

It was the Batman Hush figure. Thanks to all that replied. Hopefully, it was just a fluke. Although they lack the articulation I want, they are cool fiugres, and I would like to get more.

i dont know as i keep all my figures moc. They are all impressive figures, i have the hush series 1 and dark knihgt returns( dkr is an awesome set.)

I have Batman standing atop my computer tower...kinda hard to balance because of his ankle positioning, though...but still great nonetheless. |
