This is the one that I have been wanting to do for a long time, Have Chris Benoit still stay alive in the wrestling world. Eddie Guerrero never dies in 2005, Benoit never snaps and goes crazy, he stays alive, the rest of Benoit will be booked in original real life in 2005 and 2007. Benoit will go to the ECW Brand in June of 2007 and challenge for the Vacated ECW Championship. Also Benoit and Nancy will divorce in 2006.
2007:
It's Night of Champions, and it's the Tournament Final for the ECW Championship between CM Punk and Chris Benoit. Benoit makes the house shows without any incident or any violence. Benoit wins the ECW Championship in a 15-20 minute match becoming the face of ECW winning the title that alluded him for many many years and because of this. ECW gets a lot of ratings ever since Paul Heyman's departure. Benoit and Punk will begin the rivalry with Benoit showing a tease of a heel turn. At the Great American Bash, he defeats CM Punk to retain the ECW Championship by using the ropes for leverage. Benoit states that on the Night after the ECW Bash that he wouldn't take the easy way out to cheat. Punk calls Benoit out and says that he and his friend Eddie Guerrero have studied the games for years it's because they've been close friends and they've lied, cheated and stole this business like WrestleMania 20. This gets Benoit upset, that he doesn't turn heel yet. But in the Main Event, after Punk fights a grueling match with Big Daddy V. He's attacked after the match by Big Daddy V. Benoit then runs down to fight off Big Daddy V knocking him out of the ring. But in a fit of rage, Benoit snaps and attacks Punk locking in the Crossface officially turning Benoit heel for the first time since 2002. Benoit says that Punk's awoken a monster in Benoit. Benoit at every turn attacks Punk just before Summerslam, but on the go home show before Summerslam. Punk and Benoit engage in a brawl that has the rest of the ECW Locker Room attempt to separate Punk and Benoit. At Summerslam. Benoit and Punk face off in a Ultimate Submission Match for the ECW Championship. The score is tied at 4-4. But as soon as Punk is close to winning the ECW Title. Benoit has the lead with 3 seconds to spare by making Punk submit to the Sharpshooter. The feud between Benoit and Punk will still not end. At Unforgiven, the two face off again for the ECW Championship making this Punk's last chance that if Punk doesn't beat Benoit. Punk will not get a ECW Championship Match as long as Benoit is the Champion. At Unforgiven, Punk beats Benoit to capture the ECW Championship. But they still continue to feud one last time at No Mercy as Punk and Benoit agree to end their fight in a Three Stages of Hell Match, the first fall. Submission, the second fall. Extreme Rules, and the Third Fall. A Ladder Match. Punk retains the ECW Title after going 2-1 over Benoit at No Mercy. Benoit stays on the ECW Brand, but ECW pretty much has nothing for him, at the 2007 Survivor Series. He's apart of an ECW vs RAW vs SMACKDOWN with Benoit being a part of Team ECW. He teams up with Elijah Burke, John Morrison, Tommy Dreamer and Big Daddy V taking on Team RAW consisting of Triple H, Umaga, Mr. Kennedy, Jeff Hardy and the returning Chris Jericho and Team SMACKDOWN that consists of Rey Mysterio, Finlay, Matt Hardy, MVP and Kane. In the end it's Team RAW that wins with Triple H and Jeff Hardy becoming the sole survivors with The Game eliminating Benoit at the end. Benoit would get back at the ECW Championship by the end of 2007.
2008:
Benoit eventually earns a title match at the Royal Rumble as he defeats Tommy Dreamer and John Morrison in a #1 Contenders Triple Threat Extreme Rules Match. That means, Benoit and Punk have to square off once again, but Vickie Guerrero who is smitten with Edge brings in her step nephew, Chavo Guerrero to take a part of the ECW Championship Match. At the Royal Rumble, Chavo wins the ECW Title over Punk and Benoit and that signals a slow face turn for Chris Benoit. At No Way Out, Chavo successfully defends the ECW Title against Punk and Benoit but not without controversy. Benoit eventually turns face as Vickie Guerrero attempts to bring him into La Familia but Benoit straight up refuses attacking everyone in the La Familia, at WrestleMania 24. Benoit recaptures the ECW Championship for the second time over Chavo Guerrero, but he loses the title at Backlash to the #1 Contender Kane as payback for Bad Blood 2004. Benoit is traded over to the SMACKDOWN Brand and gets involved in the United States Title Picture once more. At the Great American Bash, Benoit is thrown into the Triple Threat Match between Matt Hardy, MVP and Shelton Benjamin with Benoit winning the United States Championship once again for the fourth time. Benoit stays on as Champion retaining the title over MVP at Summerslam and Umaga at Unforgiven. But Benoit will drop the title at No Mercy to Shelton Benjamin. Benoit is also a part of the Team SMACKDOWN Brand as he teams up with Vladimir Kozlov, MVP, Shelton Benjamin and The Great Khali against Team RAW consisting of Rey Mysterio, Kane, Mike Knox, Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase. Benoit is the sole survivor making Rhodes submit to the Crossface. By the way, WWE will not turn PG this year by the way. With that win, Benoit gets a WWE Championship Match against his old friend and now turned heel Eddie Guerrero on the SMACKDOWN Show after Survivor Series. The two have a back and forth match, but it's Eddie that lies, cheats and steals retaining the WWE Championship over Benoit. Benoit doesn't have a match at Armageddon either.
2009:
It's 2009, and Benoit enters the Royal Rumble Match as the #10 entrant. Benoit lasts for 33 minutes but he is eliminated by Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase. Benoit eventually will get a spot at WrestleMania 25 by appearing in his Second Money in The Bank Ladder Match, he wins and holds on to the briefcase, he will stay on the SMACKDOWN Brand and hold on to the Briefcase and also gets involved in the Intercontinental Title Picture between Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio, at The Bash. Benoit wins the Intercontinental Title in a Triple Threat Match over Jericho and Rey Mysterio. Benoit hangs on with the Intercontinental Title and the Money in The Bank Briefcase. This is Benoit's first Intercontinental Title Reign since 2002. Benoit will eventually drop the title to Dolph Ziggler at Summerslam in an intense high paced match cleanly. Benoit will go on to feud with Kane for a while, but at Bragging Rights, Benoit inserts himself and eventually cashes in the Money in The Bank Briefcase on The Undertaker who defeated Punk in a Submission Match to win the World Heavyweight Title. And for the first time, Benoit makes The Undertaker tap out to the crossface. For the first time in history, The Undertaker taps out. After, Taker shakes Benoit's hand out of respect but warns him that he'll be coming for him. Benoit retains the title over Kane at the Inaugural PPV Hell in A Cell. But it's not a Hell in A Cell Match. Taker and Punk still wrestle inside Hell in A Cell with Taker winning. At Bragging Rights, Benoit retains the title in a Fatal 5-Way Match against Batista, Rey Mysterio, CM Punk and The Undertaker. Benoit will go on to retain the title over CM Punk as they will once again be involved in a feud, at TLC. Benoit retains the title over Punk in a TLC Match.
2010:
At the Royal Rumble, Benoit faces Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship. And as much as powerful as the animal is. Benoit is still the World Heavyweight Champion by making The Animal submit to the Crossface. Edge still wins the Royal Rumble in his return, At Elimination Chamber. Jericho and Edge will face off for that #1 Contender Spot while Benoit retains the title inside the Elimination Chamber over The Undertaker, John Morrison, R-Truth, Rey Mysterio and CM Punk. Jericho wins by cheating with help from The Big Show, but Edge will get his spot back setting up a Triple Threat Match between three canadians at WrestleMania 26, Edge, Benoit and Jericho. Edge wins the World Heavyweight Title in his comeback match at WrestleMania 26. Benoit gets his rematch clause the night after WrestleMania 26 on SMACKDOWN but loses, Benoit will move on to the RAW Brand trying to get his hand at the WWE Championship and is involved in a feud with Sheamus. Sheamus defeats Benoit in a Grudge Match at Over The Limit, but Benoit will get his win back over Sheamus. Sheamus will end the feud when he defeats Benoit in Sheamus's first title defense the night after the Fatal Four Way Match. Benoit will be involved in a feud with the Nexus, but also involved in a feud with The Miz for the United States Championship. Benoit joins Team WWE at Summerslam, he teams up with Bret Hart, Edge, John Cena, John Morrison, R-Truth and Daniel Bryan. Benoit eliminates Skip Sheffield by using the crippler crossface and also Darren Young, but his performance is cut short by a 450 splash by Justin Gabriel eliminating Benoit, the Nexus go on to dominate and win the match. Benoit will form an alliance with Daniel Bryan as he is basically his mentor, Benoit and Daniel become a tag team despite Daniel winning the United States Title at Night of Champions over The Miz. They become a great tag team and even in December, they win the WWE Tag Team Championship over David Otunga and Justin Gabriel.
2011:
At the Royal Rumble, there is tension however between Bryan and Benoit. Bryan and Benoit eventually lose the titles again to Gabriel and Slater at The Royal Rumble, in the Royal Rumble Match. Bryan eliminates Benoit with Benoit being upset about it, the two go on to have a match at the Elimination Chamber for the United States Championship with Benoit turning heel once again for the first time since 2008 and winning the United States Title once more, but at WrestleMania 27. Bryan gets his win back and regains the United States Title. Bryan and Benoit will go on to have a feud with one another, It's also red hot as well as Punk vs Cena's rivalry being red hot. Benoit costs Daniel Bryan the United States Championship. Bryan and Benoit are both traded to the SMACKDOWN Brand with Benoit and Bryan fighting to a no contest at Over The Limit. Benoit and Bryan's feud continues at Money in The Bank with Bryan winning the Money in The Bank. Benoit and Bryan will face off at Summerslam again, but this time with the MITB Briefcase on the line. Benoit wins the Briefcase over Bryan, but at Hell In A Cell. Bryan will win it back in a Hell in A Cell Match over Benoit. And after, the feud ends. Benoit takes time off as retirement is about to call for Benoit.
2012:
Benoit returns at the Royal Rumble as a Babyface as a surprise entrant entering at #21, yes i'm taking Kharma out of the 2012 Royal Rumble. Benoit fills the entrant for her. Benoit like 2004 puts on a dominant showing and the final four are Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Sheamus and Randy Orton. Benoit eliminates Sheamus while Jericho eliminates Orton, and it's down to Benoit and Jericho, the two go back and forth for 10 or 15 minutes, but in the end it's Benoit that eliminates Jericho to win his second Royal Rumble Match. The next night, Benoit announces that he would face CM Punk for the WWE Championship in his final match. Jericho will take on Daniel Bryan for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 26. Jericho will feud with CM Punk eventually in 2012. Punk says he would be glad to take on Benoit because both of them have history. Punk & Benoit continue to trade back and forth barbs, but not physical at all. Punk and Benoit both cut a shoot promo before WrestleMania 26 with one another. WWE officials and Punk and Benoit consider to put this match in the main event at the WWE Championship so that Benoit could have one more main event sendoff. Although WWE was leaning towards either The Rock vs John Cena or The Undertaker vs Triple H to close WrestleMania. They decide to end WrestleMania 28 with the Main Event between Benoit & Punk. It's an explosive match, the two go 30-35 minutes. Punk survives a Crippler Crossface and at least 10 German Suplexes and a Flying Headbutt. While Benoit survives 2 GTS's. Punk hits the final GTS on Benoit and then locks in the anaconda vice on Benoit and Benoit taps out. Whether he was content on winning or losing. Benoit is at peace with it cause he deserved one last main event run against Punk. After the Match, Benoit and Punk shake hands with Benoit passing the torch to Punk.
Retirement:
The night after WrestleMania, Chris Benoit cuts a retirement promo with the WWE Superstars and his friend Eddie Guerrero all there with him and also his 2 sons, Daniel and David. Benoit settles down in retirement life, he and Nancy still maintain a good relationship. Benoit is inducted into the 2013 Hall of Fame and makes a few WWE Appearances here and there even helping out the young talent in NXT and stays with NXT from 2014 to today. Benoit's son David would be a part of the NXT Roster in 2016 at the age of 23. He gets a push in NXT and in 2018, he defeats Andrade to win the NXT Championship. David moves on to the main roster after losing the NXT Title in the Summer of 2019 against Adam Cole. David will be drafted to the SMACKDOWN Brand and gets involved in an Intercontinental Title push, at WrestleMania 36. David wins the Intercontinental Title over Sami Zayn, the fans still are around. The Pandemic never happens. David stays on as Intercontinental Champion for the next 9 months until he drops the title to Cesaro, In 2021, he teams up with another fellow family son wrestler Dominik Mysterio, and the duo at WrestleMania 37 win the SMACKDOWN Tag Team Championship over Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode. They stay on as Champions until dropping the titles at Summerslam to the Usos. David & Dominik are still teaming up as they are officially drafted to the RAW Brand and thus that wraps up the "What if Chris Benoit was Still Alive"

David moves on to the main roster after losing the NXT Title in the Summer of 2019 against Adam Cole. David will be drafted to the SMACKDOWN Brand and gets involved in an Intercontinental Title push, at WrestleMania 36. David wins the Intercontinental Title over Sami Zayn, the fans still are around. The Pandemic never happens. David stays on as Intercontinental Champion for the next 9 months until he drops the title to Cesaro, In 2021, he teams up with another fellow family son wrestler Dominik Mysterio, and the duo at WrestleMania 37 win the SMACKDOWN Tag Team Championship over Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode. They stay on as Champions until dropping the titles at Summerslam to the Usos. David & Dominik are still teaming up as they are officially drafted to the RAW Brand and thus that wraps up the "What if Chris Benoit was Still Alive"
