Really good show, with some superb matches. Highlight was Tyson Fury singing. I’ve only heard him sing after his own fights previously, but his voice was on top form tonight.

As long as The Rock lay down for Roman at mania, I don't want black Adam trying to steal Romans thunder

hope they have Rock come in, beat Roman for both titles after a year of build up and no defenses, and then retire the next night on RAW. Only thing that would make me happier is logging in here to read the reviews.

Other than Sizzle, who has an unhealthy love for Cody, tell me WHY you all want Cody to be the one? Again, he was meh at best in his first run. Had some moments, but was never the man. He was meh in AEW. Had his moments but was never the man. Now all the sudden he's god-tier? I'm scracthing my head over here. Cody is DULL as dull can be.

Wait, they actually aired the Drew/Tyson segment? Felt very house showy. Assumed it would have went off air after the Roman pose.

- Roman wins because of family…again…*yawn*
- Drew sang after loosing arguably the biggest match of his career. This is his “Lex Luger” moment.

You really on here talking about unhealthy love? You’re the guy who says Kenny Omega is the god of pro wrestling and his return gave your life meaning again. Nobody has to explain their fandom to you.

I’m not even a huge Cody fan but his story makes sense and has sold me. He left because he would never be seen as the guy, went on to make a real name for himself as a draw, and then returned because he wants to win the one thing his dad couldn’t. It’s classic pro wrestling. He should be the guy. Pretty simple.

I'm gonna watch the full show tomorrow, but holy hell Gunther and Sheamus tore the house down. Sheamus pulling out the High Cross was nice, haven't seen that in a long time. Surprised Sheamus was the face here as well, seeing as both guys are heels.
Top 10 match of the year for me.

Feel like they are going towards making the Brutes babyfaces, which would be easy for Sheamus and BUTCH, but no one is going to want to cheer Ridge after the Big E incident.

I’m here for Cody to be the one. I really don’t know how to explain why I’ve taken to him so much with his return, but I have. I also want Seth to be champion, and he’s truly my favorite in WWE, but it’s rather unlikely that he would beat Roman… for the belts, cause he already did beat Roman at the Rumble. 7+ months later and he hasn’t had another shot, makes sense.

My friends and I had an amazing time wandering the city which was crammed with wrestling fans and the show was brilliant. Heart was racing at the end of the main event as it felt like Drew could win until Solo, which my friend went mental for as he's created designs and stuff for him since before he was with NXT.

He was meh in AEW. Had his moments but was never the man. Now all the sudden he's god-tier? I'm scracthing my head over here. Cody is DULL as dull can be. I'm not particularly invested in Reigns vs Rhodes personally, but it's easy to see why people want it. Cody left WWE a boy, grew up, spent three years being head and shoulders above everyone in AEW, and returned a man. Not just a man, but a man with a mission - to win the title his father couldn't. To complete his family's legacy. Then on the other side, there's Roman Reigns, tribal chief of the bloodline. Who is not only in God mode himself but also happy to use his relatives to hold on to his success, and they're happy to do it because it puts food on all of their tables. And whereas Cody returned to a hero's welcome just for coming back, Roman never left - he was putting in the grind for years, never getting the acknowledgement he deserved. Its the prodigal son vs the one who has been holding it down the entire time. But it's also the prodigal son vs the golden boy, as Roman broke through the glass ceiling that forced Cody to leave in the first place. There are also smaller things in their history - Cody was one of the first wrestlers to pin Reigns during the Rhodes family vs Shield rivalry, and took one of the first epic superman punches. Mainly it comes down to the start of Cody's walkout theme: "Wrestling has more than one royal family." Then the same fans will inevitably turn on Cody Rhodes just like they turned on Cena, Reigns, Rollins, McIntyre etc. But his title win is still going to be a great moment for a lot of people.

I enjoyed everything on the show from start to finish, and the only low point was Shayna vs Liv but even that was watchable. MOTN was Gunther vs Sheamus exceeded my expectations

What’s the best way for them to at least get 1 title off Roman? I have no issues with Roman winning, I just hate he’s holding both titles.

Building a top heel. They’re doing this perfectly. You’re supposed to be annoyed with Roman winning time and time again. Only difference between Roman and someone like… say… Jeff Jarrett in TNA is that Roman isn’t booking himself and is consistently putting on quality matches. This coming from a guy who absolutely HATED babyface Roman Reigns. Beleeee dat!
Everything comes to an end in wrestling. Roman WILL lose the titles. It’s just a matter of when and to who. Ending a 2 year + reign is going to be a HUGE rub to whoever they choose. And if it’s The Rock, who takes them from him will be big as well.

And yes, I do ponder why people want Cody to be the man ... which you did not answer.
