I'm also in the camp that believes the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship will carry on the lineage of the WWE Championship while folding in the Universal Championship lineage. We'll see how they handle it when Roman finally loses it.
The way I take the championship still being "undisputed" despite the new World Heavyweight Championship being introduced, is that the title Roman has is undisputed between the WWE and Universal Championships. There's no disputing that he has/had both belts. Therefore when just factoring in those titles, he's still an undisputed champion. Nonetheless, the way WWE has gone about it has been pretty confusing.

“Undisputed Champion” Our undisputed champion lost via DQ to the now WHC. Sounds disputed to me. Because it is disputed

I don't think that Triple H and Vince will retire the WWE Championship for a title that has been around since 2016. Why in the hell is their an Undisputed Champion while their is a World Heavyweight Championship on Raw. You say that, but they dropped the World Tag Team championship in favour of the WWE Tag Team championship back in 2010. A title with a lineage dating back to 1971, dropped in favour of a title established 31 years later in 2002. That being said, I doubt they'll drop the WWE championship in favour of the Universal championship. But there is definitely precedent.

Lesnar had the title at Mania 38, they unified it when Roman won and now Roman continues the original lineage because only a goof would retire the most legitimate and long standing championship in wrestling. You can’t create 50 years of linage on the spur of the moment.

A tag team could become more over than The Rock and he wouldn’t be able to capitalize because he’s been crapting on tag teams his entire life

I understand why WWE is calling Roman and his new championship "undisputed", but why is the new WWE women's championship "undisputed"? It wasn't "undisputed" before this. Just call it the WWE Women's Championship.

The World Tag Team Titles were originally called the WWF Tag Team titles until 2002 when the new WWE Tag Team Titles debut. So after the Unification in 2010 they might have possibly reverted to their original names? Keeping the lineage alive.

However, they definitely continued the lineage of the 2002 championship. The Hart Dynasty are officially recognised as the final World Tag Team champions.
