pop wise
- HHH return 2001/2002 both are solid - Rock return 2011 - CM Spunk return 2011
a personal favorite of mine
- AJ Styles debut (since he had wrestled for WWE at least once before I'm counting it as a return) the pop was insane and it's just such a good moment in WWE history. Even the Ref was shocked/excited. His entire career lead to this moment. Imo it was the culmination of years upon years of tearing it up in the indies, NJPW, ROH, TNA and other places to prove that he was never just "another high-flyer" and it reached it's peak when he walked through that curtain. He's made a career of proving people wrong and the fact that WWE had to upload a second video of his debut at the RR to get all the crowd angles instead of Romans big dumb head being the focus of AJ's entrance proves that they too weren't sure if he was worthy. However the reaction he received was absolutely deserved and cemented his legacy.

Triple H in 2002 -- dude was ready for a HUGE babyface run right before his May 2001 injury. A guy who got over with the crowd as the ultimate heel but having great moments with DX and fantastic main event matches along the way. The crowd was so ready to welcome him back. WWE did it perfectly with the rehab promos that made the crowd love him before he was even back on-screen. Top it off, it took place in MSG.
The Rock in 2011 -- just a fantastic moment that was really well received. It felt pretty unreal having the Rock back inside the ring again after becoming such a star. Even if his later run isn't your favorite, it was a huge way to end RAW.
Stone Cold at Backlash 2000 - electric John Cena at Royal Rumble 2008 - electric Edge at Royal Rumble 2020 - electric Hardy Boyz at WM33 - the roof would be gone if that stadium had one

Christians rumble return went too far under the radar True about Christian. It was almost fitting given how underrated/second fiddle his career has been. That his big return from a career ending injury would come infront of computer screens at the most forgettable & least talked about Royal Rumble of all time.

Night after Mania Lesnar I think will always be my favourite.. although Undertaker at Judgement Day 2000 is hard to top.
One of the ones I enjoy watching back though is Kane returning with Paul Bearer on Raw in 2000. I love that.
