I'm starting to get alarmed I have only seen 2 Steiner figures coming to retail...late WCW Rick & 03 Scott. NEED WCW Champ Big Poppa Pump & WM9 Steiners(or any 90-94 Steiners)

well, you see, with anyone you have a 50% chance, but you are not talking about just anyone or any action figure, you have (at best) 33 and 3/4% chance of getting it cancelled, people at mattel are fat!

Scott hasn’t done anything recently, as far as I’m aware. He seems to be much more mellow now.
I’m not even going to speculate on Rick. Enough has been said about him, and honestly, the less said about him in this stage of life, the better.

So long as mattel doesn’t get us like they did with the Dudley’s, Sting, Jarrett, and to a much lesser extend more AE Hardy’s (yes we got brood era but need something from 00-02.
At least get us one set of early 90s Steiners

I wouldn't be surprised if they started really pumping them out pretty soon. Elites, basics, UE, even battle packs (Championship Showdown). Steiners in retro form would be pretty cool, too.
They know how anticipated they have been for a while now. I couldn't see them doing just 1 or 2 of each.

Let's say they release only Scott in tag team form - by the time they eventually release Rick (if they release him), the technology would probably evolve and they would probably need to release the same Scott again anyways (if he was still signed). Id rather have more single run Scott Steiners. If we don't see the Steiners as a tag team by next WM, then they are probably on hold. When they announced them at the end of 2022, it sounded like they were going full steam ahead. I don't see why they haven't been slotted for the Legends line yet so I'm getting worried (that has been revealed through the first half of 2024). |
