SmackDown preview, Oct. 6, 2023: Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso follow The Judgment Day to SmackDown
The American Nightmare and “Main Event” Jey Uso are traveling to the blue brand tonight to see Damian Priest and Finn Bàlor and the rest of The Judgment Day ahead of their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Title Match at WWE Fastlane.
The Judgment Day previously announced their intentions to appear on the blue brand, and Cody Rhodes responded by announcing that he and Uso don't want to miss a chance to get some pre-title match face-time.

Asuka and Charlotte Flair to take on Damage CTRL
Despite having to battle each other in a huge Triple Threat Match the very next night, Charlotte Flair and Asuka will need to be on the same page in their fight against WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY and Bayley.
At WWE Fastlane, SKY will put her title on the line against The Queen of WWE and The Empress of Tomorrow in a frenetic Triple Threat Match.
Flair and Asuka have teamed together in the past, even becoming WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Meanwhile, Bayley has been causing some tension in Damage CTRL, having unofficially made the Triple Threat Match for WWE Fastlane.

Dragon Lee to go head-to-head with Austin Theory
After Austin Theory initiated an altercation with Dragon Lee as the latter was watching the Oct. 29 edition of SmackDown, the two Superstars are set to square off on the blue brand.
Lee feels disrespected by the former United States Champion and is on a mission to show his adversary who he is and what he is made of. Despite how many titles Lee has won around the world, however, his outspoken opponent says he has never faced anyone like Austin Theory.

Rey Mysterio gears up for WWE Fastlane in a one-on-one match with Bobby Lashley
In order to prove their worth to Bobby Lashley, The Street Profits, together with The All Mighty, launched a devastating attack on The LWO. In response, a Triple Threat Match was made between the two factions for WWE Fastlane.
Before they square off at the explosive PLE, United States Champion Rey Mysterio will seek retribution and a huge win when he squares off against Lashley.
