And THAT'S why I can't stand people supporting this R-Truth nonsense. It invites WWE to give us horse shet like that.

Did anyone notice that they showed a modified 2K24 cover on Raw? Rhea Ripley’s attire was from one of the Crown Jewel shows.

Cody vs Punk should 100% be the Summerslam plan

How’s that idiot Michael Cold gonna claim that Austin was the only one to win back to back Rumbles?
Shawn did it in 93 and 94. Ya know… the guy running NXT. Hall of Famer.

I feel like the crowd didn’t understand the reference that Punk was saying he was put on the cover of the game and then the rock came back and took his Wrestlemania away and now the same thing is about to happen to Cody

I think the crowd was sleeping off hangovers or something. Maybe it was just my audio but they seemed dead most of the night.
WWE has no idea what to do with Drew or Gable right now. Gable is too good to get buried like this IMO. I have said for a while that he needs a bit of a gimmick change.

Just watched the Cody/Punk promo and it was great. This is the most excited I've been for a Rumble match in a very long time.

I thought Cody came off bad in that promo. Cody talked about how Punk left, while Cody took that spot. Punk left in 2014, Cody left in 2016.
It’s like Cody did part of the Seth Rollins promo from several weeks ago… but he shouldn’t have. It made no sense.
And why is R-Truth getting involved in the main event of RAW? Keep that comedy schtick to backstage segments and McDonagh matches.

I think Drew is basically ruined at this point. The crowd is beyond dead. I dont think people know to boo or not boo and im not sure many people are left that care. They should have had him turn and brutalize someone, build to Mania. Instead he’s kinda just been out there indecisive about what his character is supposed to be. He’s getting Sami at WrestleMania. Sami either returns on Saturday and goes after Drew, or they push his return back and build a few weeks later. The story already has been created. Just sitting on the back burner for a little bit.

And he stayed with WWE. So he didn't do anything he said, storyline wise. Cody wasn't happy and asked for his release and went to ROH, Japan and the indies. Punk talked about doing it. Cody did it. I thought it was a brilliant back and forth and laid the foundation for a huge program in the future.

Punk talked about wanting to be the top guy in the WWE. In the programs and cups, a higher spot on the card. He wanted to be equal to John Cena as far as placement in the company. He did that after the “pipebomb” and MITB 2011. Cody’s promo last night was about taking Punk’s spot when he left. Which he never did and left shortly after Punk did… because he wasn’t being used. Cody was spouting off nonsense in that promo last night. It sounded great as far as the delivery, but none of that part was true. The Rollins/Punk one was far better and made sense… even though we’ve heard a lot of it before.

He stayed. Booking didn't improve. Rock main evented the next two Manias. So I guess the only change he got was a title run and his face on some merch. Cody wasn't happy and he left. Made a name for himself and helped create a new promotion. Punk talked. Cody walked. That was the point of his promo, which is true.

I’d hardly call almost 3 years as the top babyface/heel on RAW (mostly as the WWE Champion) as “booking not changing”. Some research of where Punk was on the card before that promo says everything. Maybe re-watch that promo. He threatened to walk if things didn’t change. They did change. MITB 2011 alone was a turning point for the “new faces” of WWE. Even for our precious “American Nightmare”.
