So with WWE moving to Netflix I was wondering, what the pros and cons of having an off season for wrestling would be from your POV? Obviously this will never happen as it will still be a weekly show but I am curious to hear the two sides of what good and what bad would come from it. Also we haven't had a solid stupid thread in awhile so here's one.
For me it would be PROS: - off time with family - general excitement for it to come back - time to recuperate the body
CONS: - missing weekly wrestling of course - fans may turn to the competition to get their fix (idk if that's a thing they would worry about but it may help grow wrestling knowledge as a whole for the casual viewer)

Just don’t run house shows. That’s all they need to do to preserve their careers. Wrestle once a week, that’s it.
An off season would kill all interest, all storylines, all the ability to connect and get over properly with the audience

In an ideal world, nearly everyone would be booked as an attraction of sorts and with a large roster and clever/decent booking nobody would be wrestling too much anyway. Skits and vignettes would go a long way too.

More vacations would be a big benefit for the talent

None of the above.
Also, house shows are a big revenue for wrestling companies.

Instead of having an off season, split the rosters into three groups, Group A: Would have April-June off Group B: Would have July-September off Group C: Would have October-December off Everyone works January-March as its Royal Rumble and WrestleMania season.
That way Raw/SmackDown can still air 52 weeks a year, and the whole roster gets three months/12 weeks off a year to recover and spend time with their families.

Obviously Champions would have it a bit different but still a decent way to map it out I think.

You aren’t going to give talent 2-3 months off. It’ll effect storylines and ticket sales.
These ideas are silly from a business aspect.
