This scene in The Grudge scared the absolute crap out of me when I saw it for the first time. It took years before I watched this movie again.

An oldie but a goodie. And the way she seems to float out of the room gave me the heebie-jeebies.

Jim stripping infront of Nadia in American Pie. I can't be the only one with nightmares?

The snot bubble coming out of the Heather’s nose at the end of the Blair Witch Project. If you’re going to die wipe your damn nose!!! That beats out the scariest movie scenes that gave me nightmares every time I watched the movie as a kid. The “Child Catcher” looking for and catching Jeremy and Jamima in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

It’s funny those type of movies - universal monsters (Vampires, Frankenstein , Werewolves, Zombies, etc ) never scared me, but things based on reality like child abduction, buried alive, burned alive or eaten alive freaked me out. I guess the one horror movie that scared me as a kid was “Burnt Offerings”
