What’s the deal with everything ROH related using the 2023 logo? I don’t like it. And where are the old titles?
They definitely own those logos they use them on Honor Club. And it can’t be that expensive to license those old belts. They look better too.

They actually don’t own those logos. I don’t recall the exact situation, but I think it came up in a thread about the titles that come with the Briscoes, that they don’t have permission from the person who either came up with the older logos, or is the current owner of those logos. If an old logo shows up in old footage on Honor Club is one thing, but they aren’t allowed to make money off the old logos.

That sucks. Is it Khan not wanting to pay for it or the owner not wanting to make a licensing deal?

Joaquin Wilde made the original ROH logo so maybe that has something to do with it.

I don’t think it’s the Joaquin Wild version. He made the first logo. It’s the 2nd & 3rd that people want and can’t be used.

Considering the origins of Ring of Honor, it’s not that shocking The theme to the movie and TV show M*A*S*H was written by a child. I think he was about 12. A 16 year old making the ROH logo is actually normal compared to them using a child's poem for a black comedy about the horrors of war. Not that it really has anything to do with wrestling, I'm just throwing that out there.

He wanted the song to be dark but also have really dumb lyrics, for whatever reason. Johnny Mandel, who was the composer, was too skilled a writer to pull it off. He was "too good to suck" as you could say, so he gave the job to his son who wrote a poem about the chosen topic in 5 minutes. Johnny Mandel then scored the song, an thus, the song was written and would go on to become one of the most recognizable theme songs of the 70s and 80s.

All both the old "ROH logos" were was a font from the Dark Crystal and then the whiskey bravo font that is standard on any PC. Find it wild they can use pepsi logos, all these diff liscensed tats but not a generic font preloaded on most pieces of technology
